I did not watch the reality show, but understand that as a result of the bravado displayed, especially by Ryan, that the team has a huge target on its back this season.

mbmbn, Mike n Mike were talking about the week 1 stats.  Over 60% of the teams who win the first game make the playoffs.  I found it interesting.

But, yes, anything can happen, you gotta peak at the right time.

Anywhoo,....glad that football is here.

I'm certainly not going to agree that a "ground and pound" team can't win a Super Bowl under today's rules, but I guess you won't believe it until it happens.

Anyway, there's plenty of football left and I'm very curious to see how the Jets do against the Patriots next week. I think Baltimore is going to clobber the overrated Bengals.

I would root for the JETS v. just about anyone. Its kind of funny that Rex Ryan is captaining a QB challenged team; I don't know what to make of Sanchez. I think Sam Bradford is already ahead of him and a lot of other guys too.

Flacco is very good, but I'm not sure that he'll ever be "elite."

LT showed some signs that his tank is not empty and he's a two way threat to boot (catching passes and running the ball.)

I think Sims and Roethelsberger were each pro bowl QBs at some point in their careers. In the SB itself, Sims delivered BIG, "Simms set a record by completing 22 of 25 passes, including 10 in a row in the second half. He passed for 268 yards and three touchdowns."

The most interesting team of 2010 is TENN. Vince Young is a real X factor QB and Chris Johnson is the best RB in the game by a good margin.

Josh Freeman looks good in TB and I'm interested to see how Jimmy Clausen makes in in CAR.

Curious to about Derek Anderson and what kind of numbers he can put up in AZ. He's got a great arm, but defensive wizardry will make him turn the ball over.

Seeing Matt Stafford turn up lame reminded me of what happened to Bert Jones of the BAL Colts. He was never the same after separating his shoulder. Hope Stafford fares better.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Cowboys missed a field goal.

Green Bay will have to come through Chicago to get to the Super Bowl.

If Domi replies, please inform him I have invoked 7.6.3

Steelers are down to one QB, well 2 if you count Randle El. Hold me, someone.

So how long is Ben R's suspension? I never heard a final tally.

I'm gonna say something I have yet to speak.

Since I don't think it would be possible for Wade to step back to just being the DC he's done when the year is over..

The Red Head can leave now.  I have been a Cowboy's fan for as long as I can remember watching football.  If Jerry doesn't rid this team of Garrett when this year is over I am done with the Cowboys until Jerry's dead.

I think Mark Sanchez rubbed off on Joe Flacco in CIN. He conducted one of the worst QB performances in Ravens history, besting the likes of Scott Mitchell, Stoney Case, Tony Banks, Kyle Boller, and Anthony Wright.

Painful as it maybe to admit, GB is looking elite.

The thing that is most disappointing, is that every year the Cowboys have a team of top talent. Most of the analysts and insiders predict that Dallas will lead their division and many even pick them as Superbowl contenders. They get all this early season hype and then never deliver. This has been going on for 10 years and the fans are beginning to feel disillusioned with the team and the coaches. I keep trying to tell myself that it can only get better from here, but I'm not so sure.
