Yes you have to love Hines Ward, he plays the game with a passion normally found in Steeler linebackers like Jack Lambert, Greg Loyd, and Kevin Greene. He and Troy Polamalu are my two favorite players, which is a departure for me since my favorites are generally running backs, and particularly fullbacks, having grown up with Rocky Bleier, Franco, Merrill Hoge, Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, and Dan Krieder. Don't get me wrong, I liked other Steelers wideouts, obviously Swann, Stallworth, and Lipps, but they're recievers and generally not bruising types. Likewise with DB's with the notable exceptions of Woodson, Lake, and Shell, I always kinda liked having them, but didn't really love them. It would be interesting to hear what guys from the great Steelers teams of the past would say, but I think that Troy and Hines would fit in well with the old-school teams from back in the day when you were actually allowed to play defense.
