Dolphins win, they are now 1-13, I think. [:D] Pats held off the Jets to stay undefeated, Green Bay rolls, Browns shutout Buffalo in the snow.

NCAA note:

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Michigan has hired West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez as its next football coach following a search that featured two other top prospects deciding to stay put.
"I am thrilled to have Rich Rodriguez as Michigan's new coach," athletic director Bill Martin wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press on Sunday. "Rich brings an exciting brand of football to Michigan Stadium. We welcome the entire Rodriguez family to Ann Arbor."

Rodriguez, whose No. 11 Mountaineers are preparing for their second Bowl Championship Series game in three seasons, will take over Michigan's program from Lloyd Carr.

And the best part was.......**** drum roll ****

Not only a classy handshake between BB and EM, also very pleasant words exchanged !

With the Steelers loss today, the Chargers are in position for a 3rd seeding, correct ? And if my math is right, Cleveland can get into 4th position.

Does Dallas wrap up homefield thruoughout with a win today ?

A big old congrats to any Phin fans out there. Finally got a W in the other column. [:D]

Huggs to Katy. And get home safe.

missy, I actually liked those!
But the new ones are alright, too.

I am just not a "orange" kinda gal, never ever liked the color.  Red is more my style, lol!

The Dolphins made it into overtime..... but the Ravens are about to try a game winning FG.

Nope, the kick is no good; the Dolphins are still in it!

Level:
YAY!  So glad they got a win, finally.

P.S.  An extra added bonus is that the Pats are still undefeated!  YAY!

Seattle lost, the Panthers finally have a QB and Seattle just stumbled, and now it looks like the Cowboys have lost too...

If Dallas would have won, yes. [>:]

Good going, mb, hand me and katy a cryin' towel!

Sanity, the schizo Panthers took your guys out today; I don't think it'll be enough to save John Fox's job, though.

*hands Level a crying towel*  [:(]

youngsubgeoff -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/16/2007 6:22:44 PM)

Only sissies wave (and cry into) little yellow towels!

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/16/2007 7:33:42 PM)

Yeah, pass the crying towel.  I had a nasty trip home.  About 60 minutes away from my house I was fantasizing about dying in a snowbank.  It was bad driving conditions.  Anyway, I missed the Steelers game, instead I listened to a brass band play Pomp and Circumstance, trust me, it was music to my ears.  Level, on the way home (I was in Eagles country), I listened to most of your game.  Sorry...

Sanity -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/16/2007 7:43:20 PM)

On the sunny side, odds are good that the Seahawks and the Cowboys will meet up in the playoffs again this year...

Will Dallas try a little harder to their kicking balls dry?

MzMia -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/16/2007 7:46:15 PM)

Redskins VS. Giants!

Go Redskins!!!

The "still alive" in the NFC picture is crazy.  Brought to you by your good friend parity.  Or would that be mediocrity.

Katy, that was a prime example of a team not ready to play [:)]; and they were ripping Romo for playing poorly because his gf was in attendance lol.  Ah well, there's next week.....

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/16/2007 8:02:38 PM)

Which girlfriend?   [:D]

Nooo, we're going to try a little harder to not be in that situation, by having a 4 or 5 TD lead [:D]

Well seriously...how did Jack Del Rio look today?  [8D]

Tony Romo's girlfriend in sissy pink jersey.  Trust me, no serious chick would choose pink over her team's weal colors.
