If you feel these tirades make you look intelligent, you have a perception problem.

Actually no. I am intelligent but these presentations of facts make me feel as if I'm finding joy in treating ignints like they believe they have a right to treat others. If you don't like it, stop doing it first.

ignints?
really?
LOL

See definition 2:

There are only 3 definitions provided for “ignant” – 1) The ignorant way of saying ignorant. 2) Proudly and willfully ignorant; using one's ignorance as a virtue. 3) Slang for ignorant. ... “Ignorant” means lacking knowledge (Dictionary.com). I think this definition is the one most of us are used to.

Obviously if this scribble is an indication you're not handling anything. Exactly where, may I ask, did I indicate the heat in the kitchen was bothering me? Is it that the mental patient gave you a list of responses and this one seemed, to you, to be the most appropriate?

you are gonna tie your testicles in a knot to get around that one,

oh my..
If I could take you for anything but a complete moron, i might be a tad peeved.
But as its you... I feel exonerated.
Im living free of your illusions, Thank the gods

And...since the airlines have Federal Regulations, something Lucy would like more of, they could not legally bargain with passengers.

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/economics-101-price-controls-lead-to-force/article/2620152

quote:

So why didn't the airline simply increase its offer until it found a passenger willing to make the transaction? The answer is that federal regulations set an artificial cap on what an airline has to pay if it kicks you off their plane. So long as it can get you to your destination within two hours of your scheduled arrival, an airline doesn't have to pay you any more than twice the ticket price, or $675, whichever is less. And if it cannot get you there within that time frame, it must pay you four times the ticket price, capped at $1,350.

That can't be true or United would not have offered $800.00.

Yep, Angelika they offered 400 hundred and then 800.

Oh Lucy, take your head out of your ass and take a deep breath. Jees you are phoqing ignint. Now, take your pick. Cornell Law, Harvard Business, CNN, CNBC:

Losing 1.2 billion in stock valuation in 48 hours would be my first guess....my second would be....selling future tickets (revenue).

Did you have any other questions?

Yeah

Can you please learn to trim quotes and backpedal faster next time it's proven that you're full of shit.

The flight was overbooked.

It was overbooked because there was a United flight (delayed) in Chicago that needed additional flight crew.

Those flight crew....not arriving in Chicago...timely...would have delayed a flight with a similar number of passengers as the flight where this fellow was pulled off.

United owns that airplane.

That airplane could produce (in Chicago...by virtue of providing said 4 employees)...a flight that could then therefore cause said (concurring) flight to occur.

If you have any doubt about any of the above....see the red highlighted section above.

When you own the airplane (and don't sell tickets with fine print that allows you to cause other flights....in airplanes that you own....to arrive on time by virtue of putting your staff in same)....feel free to be butt hurt.

Until then...United was in the right.

It sucked. It was awful for the fellow that got pulled off the plane (that was owned by United).

The man who bought a ticket....agreed to the terms.

(Call the waaaaaaaambulance).

Thus endeth the lesson ###END###

United is NOT in the right for causing injury to this man. If he refuse to leave the plane. They could have send their employees on a vehicle to where they need to go to. As it's just 4 hours. And their flight is the next day apparently. They would have gotten to their flight in time in a driven vehicle.

They simply put their own staff comfort ABOVE a FULL PRICED PAYING CUSTOMER.

That is where they are wrong! Every company needs to have PR too! And they failed extremely badly here.

And it's a frail 69 yr old dude for gawd's sake! What bullies!!

They should have done EVERYTHING very differently.

Were they legally in the right?

Without debate.

No. As we have been trying to point out to you. But you refuse to read the info presented.

Apart from the fact people think its ok that he was treated in such a way, its past time that people stop saying "free market" works for anyone but the corporations.

Here is your comment Lucy. "but but corporations are people" is a reference to the SCOTUS Citizen United decision which leftists don't understand but do scoff at because in the battle against "evil corporation" the government should take control. Now, I do admit that you like to think you're sly and place things into the conversation about which you can deny any responsibility (.as you did here) because you never know when your ignince is going to bite your ass. But in fact you did reference government control. Oh, and I suppose the reference to free markets only working for corporations held no reference to a socialist worldview. Lucy, dear sweet ignint thing, you're just not that bright.

City of Chicago may be hurting too.
It seems that the town that Obama built supplied the security guys who are NOT real cops.
They are city employees, not CPD employees and have less training. It is debatable as to whether they can even legally enter an airplane and apparently don't have the power to carry weapons or arrest. They can only write tickets.
What we're looking at here kids is the rejects from one of the sorriest PD's in the country.
Kind of a bunch of Paul Blart wannabes.

The linked article mentions that the doctor is a pretty skilled poker player...looks to me like he doubled down on some morons trying to draw to an inside straight. Something tells me that he will never have to hi-grade pharmaceuticals for a living any more.

It's pretty fucking bad when even a bunch of Arabs can troll someone for mistreating others.
http://nesn.com/2017/04/emirates-blatantly-troll-united-airlines-with-this-new-commercial/

OMG, United CEO has no shame!

He even dare insult Emirates ! Which is truly unanimously the best airline in the world, anybody who flies alot internationally would tell you that.

Qatar Air and Emirates are way better service than UA by heaps!

He got alot to learn from Emirates!

Arabs love to be treated like royalty, so they while they are good at mistreating others, they also know how to train their staff to treat their customers like royalty. As they are catering to Arabs who are very difficult passengers with high expectations.

I like how the Vietnam Dude's lawyer says, anybody who sees the video, would say it's wrong.

But The CEO of United sees the video and says his employees are right.
