SO what do you think of the employee that had such a hard on for enforcing the rules on children.
Thats the part I wanna know, what made that person such a jerk to pick on a ten year old for chrissake.
she kick him in the crotch?

We do not know that this was directed only at children. From what has been posted we only know that the airline boarding person stopped two individuals for not conforming to regulations. That those two individusals were minors does not imply that they were singled out and that other free ticket holders were excused from the regulation.

The beauty of social media these days is WHEN THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS DO NOT LIKE IT, they get to flood UA's Twitter Account telling them exactly how they feel about this ridiculous rule in their employee benefits. Which could maybe motivate UA to CHANGE this ridiculous clause. This clause is sexist. Paying customers are letting UA know that they don't approve of their sexist policies for their staff.

What UA want to do with this Faux Pas is up to them. But as I said, they don't got a good reputation as a great airline to fly with, to start with. They don't watch it, they will fall.

U.a started the year at about $60 a share. As of the closing bell today it was over $68. It's pe is 10.
The rules apply to both sexes. You lied about the short shorts of the father.
Stop making shit up.
If you don't like u.a. don't fly u.a.
It is pretty two faced for you to badmouth the airline that allows you to fly for free.
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

I didn't lie about his short short shorts!

To me, a decent male shorts touches his knees.

The shorts he wore was way above his knee which to me is indecent attire for a full grown man if he wants to look "well dressed", and more indecent than leggings on 10 yr olds.

The airline didn't allow me to fly for free. My relative works there and it is HER benefit that she chose to give to me. It was EARNED and her gift to me.

I haven't flown UA for a long time. Been avoiding them like plague. Their service is seriously the worst. I won't fly UA unless they are practically the only airplane for a specific place I had to go to and there are no other choices to get there. Fortunately these days, Emirates is the best, and I try to do Emirates as much as possible.

I am also not a fan of my own Singapore Airlines.

Greta has posted that the father was wearing short shorts. The regulations that u.a. posted says that shorts must be no more than three inches above the knee. No where have I been able to find any reference to the father wearing short shorts.
Would a father leave on a flilght and leave his daughters stranded in the airport?
Here is a posibility that crossed my mind. The father tells his daughters that the regulations prohibit them from wearing what they are wearing. They ignore him. He figures maybe it is time for them to learn a lesson in personal responsibility. He has his wife drive them to the airport and when the kids get bounced from the flight for defying the rules they go home with mom and dad gets to take his vacation without the obnoxious ones pestering him....as judy tunuda says "it could happen".

The tweet posted by the woman who started this whole thing posted that the Dad was wearing short short Shorts! Which she described to be quite far above his knees. While his daughter was getting crucified for leggings. Go to twitter and read her tweets.

Where is the link to him wearing short shorts?
No cite means you made it up dumb ass.

To me, a decent male shorts touches his knees.

When you are the majority shareholder of u.a. you can make that determination. The rule about shorts applies to both male and female.
You setting yourself up as the arbitrator of what men can wear is pretty sexist don't you think?

No it was not dumb ass. That has been explained to you several times now.

No one cares, least of all u.a.

Fortunately these days, Emirates is the best, and I try to do Emirates as much as possible.

Yet you hate muslims and emirates is a muslim airline. All meals are halal, so no pork.
Kinda two faced ain't-cha?

I went back and read the tweets posted and it seems that the children changed into conforming clothing and were allowed to board.
It would strike me that boarding control, after making an issue of the leggings, would have been out with a tape measure on his shorts to make sure they were not accused of being arbitrary. I have noticed that folks who work in that sort of capacity tend to understand the principle of cya (cover your ass)

Which airline serves pork in this world? To my knowledge, all Airlines are halal these days. They bend over backwards for Muslims.

It's not two faced to criticise them for supporting a religion that abuses women.

But they do a great job with the service in Emirates. What they do right should be praised.

Nothing two faced about it.

I give credit where credit is due.

Singapore Airlines pride themselves to be the best, but in my personal opinion, they are lagging behind Emirates who are probably gonna be undisputedly the world's best airline.

Just look at their recent PR to how they are handling US banning laptops on flights to the US from the Middle East. It is amazing the service they reacted to it and provided to make it easy for their passengers.

UA has alot to learn there.

I give my money to alot of Islamist that I hate. If they have a good restaurant that serve good food, I will eat there.

You do realise I live in a country surrounded by two major Islamic countries right? And ALL of my food produces are from there!!!

Locally, we have no space to grow food. So everything is purchased from our neighbour.

My chauffeur in Malaysia that I always hire to drive me around IS a Muslim! Because it's a Muslim country! And it's filled with Muslims!

They are everywhere!

It's called not discriminating against them IF they can do a good job in other areas.

Would you boycott all Trump supporters businesses just because you hate Trump?

Washington, nevada, montana and canada are not islamic countries.

And ALL of my food produces are from there!!!

Once again you are lying out of your ass.

Singapore's rice comes from india, thailand and viet nam.
Singapore's beef comes from australia, new zealand and brazil.
Most of singapore's chicken comes from brazil.
Singapore's pork comes from brazil and indonesia an islamic copuntry.
Singapore's muton comes from australia.

Locally, we have no space to grow food. So everything is purchased from our neighbour.

Currently, production levels in that third world shithole called singapore are at 25 per cent for eggs, 8 per cent for fish and 7 per cent for leafy vegetables.

In print you discriminate against them constantly. That is what is called being a hypocrite.

Would you boycott all Trump supporters businesses just because you hate Trump?

I do not hate trump. I think he is a liar a cheat and a thief.
