Methinks someone isn't too happy about being left alone. He gets bored & looks for ways to torment you. LOL

The poor kitties were on edge all day. The homeowner's association is doing some rehab work on the townhomes, including mine and my neighbor's. The kitties were startled and woken up several times during the day by the noise made by the workmen. It's the workmen I really feel sorry for, though, having to be outside in the blazing sun on a 107 degree day.

Finally the turkey was done to perfection & I removed it from the oven & set it on the counter to "rest", fully expecting that now Marble would come running, but nope. When it was time to carve, I picked up the fork in one hand, the knife in the other, looked down & there was Marble. Dimension travel, clearly! And I loved how he never wasted energy. What would be the point of coming into the kitchen before it was time to actually eat the bird???

LMAO....that reminded me of the Princess at her 1st Thanksgiving.......Mamma...what is that?

LOL Oldhen, that's priceless!

OK so I came home from the gym this morning and went for the coffee.  The coffee pot is set on automatic brew, for 6AM.  I was surprised that there was only about a cup & a half of coffee brewed - where was the rest of it?

Apparently Viktor knocked into it while I was out, which dislodged the pitcher from the reservoir area (I don't know the official terms here, bare with me), so the reservoir was FILLED with water.  Thank God it didn't overflow - I had only made half a pot.  Otherwise, I'd have come home to quite the coffee mess!

Ay ay ay, that cat...

Lol, maybe your kitty just REALLY needed a cup of coffee......

Thank you, it is one of my favorite baby pictures of Her Highness.......she watched that oven all day. Every Thanksgiving she still gets up to perch on her kitchen stool and watch me clean the big bird, then she guards that oven verra closely until she gets her turkey dinner.

Awww, Oldhen, what an adorable picture!

Misty got several tidbits from my cheeseburger, but seems to think I'm holding out on her and continues to beg long after it's gone. Or maybe she thinks if she begs long enough, I'll go out and get another one (which is not going to happen). Angel slept through the whole episode and didn't get any tidbits.

My two really huge boyz are lying together on one cat bed. LOL Pookie is grooming Booga, while Booga twitches his tail. Oooops!!! An altercation may be afoot.

ETA: Altercation avoided. They are now sleeping & Pookie has his front leg around Booga's shoulders. *sigh*

I forgot to cover the paper towels.  I thought he was over it.

Nope.  I came home to paper towel snow ALL over the kitchen, and a few sad looking shredded towels dangling from the roll.

And him, looking up at me all innocent-like.

yep, indeed

As I said, I only wanted to reassure her...that she won't get pushed away out of her home...so thought to give her that treat....and completely forgot the past stories about her how she used to wake up my parents when she is hungry

Last night dad pronounced, that he does not need a cat in his bedroom

...was only trying to help

Doesn't every cat get it's own turkey for Thanksgiving? If not, it's cruel cat abuse. And neglect, let's not forget, neglect.

Mr. Cat was on a special diet for about the last 10 years of his life & wasn't allowed much people food. When we discovered that he was dying, we brought him home & fixed him every kind of food he'd ever loved. One of the things that we made for him was a whole turkey.
