Both are snoozing on my comforter this dreary Sunday morning. Misty seems to be okay with Angel being up on "her" bed now.

You have issues with who owns the bed, too?

Trilby (lil nervy black one) owns the bed, and as such only allows Spooky ( fat white  noisy one) there when he's feeling benevolent. The single most important bed rule seems to be: if there is a person on the bed as well, Trilby must be closer to the person than Spooky, or a dominance fight ensues. When we are in bed together, Triby snuggles between us, and Spooky gets to hang out on the fringe, as long as he is not *touching* the humans.

Oh, yeah. Near as I can tell, Misty now thinks it's okay for Angel to come up on the bed if both Misty and me are in bed. Also, there seems to be an unwitten rule that Angel must stay by my feet.

If Angel comes up on the bed when I'm in it and Misty is not there, she seems to get bent out of shape. She gave both Angel and me the cold shoulder for 24 hours because she came up one night and saw me and Angel in the bed watching TV without her being there. I was probably "punished" because I allowed it to happen. I guess as "owner" of the bed, Misty feels she has the right to dictate who gets in it and under what conditions, LOL.

However, as the "bestower of chicken tidbits," I apparently wield some authority. It's amazing how quickly Misty forgot her grudge when there was some chicken involved. I was suddenly her best friend again and all was well.

Misty has a very acute sense of smell and knew immediately that there was chicken in one of the bags when I brought the groceries in. She keeps hanging around, begging, but she is going to have to wait until I cook it tomorrow night. No raw chicken for her!

My guys are grocery bag checkers too......I can't bring in ANY bag wihtout it passing inspection,,,,,KB is looking for nip, Squeaks is checking for tweets, Boo and Smoocie are just satifying their curiosity.  If KB locates the nip before I do, it's OUTTA THERE!  Squeaks will try to sneak off with any bags of tweets she can grab.

Speaking of tweets, I'd hidden them in the cupboard.....or so I thought....silly me, right?  I came home tonight to find a bag all ripped open and about half empty....when I asked Squeaks about it, I got the "WHO, ME?  You must be mistaken!" look.  She looked so innocent......I however, know better!

The cat tried to run out of the house 2x today.  Which I do not want to happen- as the damp weather  will make flees.

She could be less lazy and catch that fly buzzing around.

The Kids are wondering wth I am doing home right now.  Like me, they are confused by the concept of a 'day off'.

The weather finally cleared up and Angel was thinking about asking to go outside. However, she now smells chicking cooking and has decided she had better stay inside or she'll miss out on a begging opportunity.

My little "angel" Squeaks devoured the tweets I left in a bowl unattended on the counter......I meant to put a cover on it, and hide that, but I didn't.  I remembered it about 10 minutes ago, abd went to get the bowl...now totally empty!  There was a half a bag in there...little piglet!  But that explains why she didn't eat her dinner when I came home!

Mine wants out too.  I nearly rang her neck. This is flea weather. I had them last year and the ONLY way to get rid of them was to leave the cat outside for a month.

Binx is watching out the window, seeing if the squirrels are coming out to play.  She is also on the loveseat arm behind me.
