Thank you, everyone.
Yes, my babies are a little hefty. They gets lots of attention and treats when Master has to go away on business.
Banshea is on the left, with the ball of yarn. She's an 8 y/o Japanese Bobtail.
Richard Hehasissues aka " Doom Cat " is on the right.

*snort* Feline, it took me a few seconds to figure out Doom cat's last name......

Now.......  I can't believe I actually tried drinking my iced tea while reading these.

Angel was being a brat and sitting in the doorway of the master bedroom and not letting Misty come in. However, when I got out of bed, she immediately wanted to go outside, so Misty was able to get back in bed.

I'm surrounded by kitteh bodies here at the computer.  Smooch is laying in front of the monitor, and when I'm typing, I tickle his feet hanging over the keyboard....that gets me an ebil kitteh look every so often.  Boo is sleeping on the little table next to me that was put there for snoozing kitteh bodies.  I have no idea why all of a sudden, I'm so popular when I'm at the computer!

We had a rough day.   It seems I yelled at the cat.    She hid then for over an hour and I would not find her.   Get this-   it was not so much that I yelled at her- but I was on the phone, and the person on the phone heard it- which in turn insulted the cat.   lol.   I still am baffled that she hid so well.  She is NOT the hiding type.

Hope all is well now.

Misty is the hiding type. She is usually a very good cat and I don't often have to yell at her, but the few times I did, not only did she hide, when I found her, I had to sweet talk her apologetically for a LONG time before she'd come out.

Cossette was attacked by a dragon today. She's still suffering from PTSD. She was snuggling with me and purring/kneading on my stuffed dragon toy. When she tried to curl up to sleep, her claw stuck & the dragon fell on her. She panicked and tried to run away, it finally came off.

YinYang is on my feet, Zelda is on the sofa & Mac is drinking water.

Tell me about it! Moki always does that when I give her her flea bath or clip her claws, because like always, she claws on the back of my desk chair, and can't do it after I clip her claws. How fickle is feline.

I bought some things at drugstore.com and they arrived a couple days ago...anyway under the pets section there they were selling some bubbles in a bottle for cats that smell like catnip(about $2)...She was so afraid of them at first the first time I blew them she ran in the other room but getting more interested now...so funny!  I have been blowing some each day for her to get used to them..I want her to chase the bubbles and have fun but she only goes to where they popped mostly and wonders where they went but she isn't as afraid now...a few have popped on her body and she doesn't like that at all!

awww, BK......I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snort at poor Cossette's traumatic experience, but all I can think of is the Jeff Dunham bit about the chihuahua (yeah, SP....) and the runaway leash bit he does.

Boo still freaks himself out when he gets stuck in the handles of the plastic shopping bags.

Otter, I've seen those bubbles before, I've thought about getting some, but my guys get so bored so easily......I spent $25 on a thingy that spins around for them to chase, it took KB less than 2 seconds to figure out that if he simply stood on the thing, it'd stop.  Now, they don't even show the slightest bit of interest in it.  I think once they figured out that they can't actually grab them, they'd simply walk away.

However, bring a box into the house.....oh man!  I am in the process of packing to move, and had a big box with me one night when I came home.  I was barely inside the door and KB was already hanging on it to tip it on it's side so he can get into it.  It's like Christmas with a 2 year old...fork out the $$$$ for all the toys, and what do they play with?  Yep, the box!

So funny soul2share...my kitty is not a box kitty like most and I took the drugstore.com box and cut a window in it and she went in it a few times but was suspicious of it and never went in again...did anyone see the show on Animal planet about the three litters of kittens last night...I think it was called "kittens, so cute!" or something like that...it was so cute!

I started watching it, but when they got to the litter with the little guy who wasn't getting food and stuff, I had to stop.  I started bawling like I was PMS'ing or something.  It just hit me wong......I think it was the Bengal litter.

I do lubs kittens!  My outdoor tortie, Sissy, had her litter about 10 days ago.  I want to find them and bring them in to socialize them and find homes for them, but I don't want to upset her or cause any harm to the kittens.  I think I'll wait until the 2 week point and track them down.  I'm pretty sure she had them under the ramp at the apt building next door.  If anyone has any ideas, feel free to pass them on.

And once she's got them weaned, I'm going to have her spayed.

i've opened the windows this morning to let the fresh spring air inside.
the kittehs have been playing in the breezy curtains and stalking birds they can hear and see but can't get to.

LOL.   Yeah things are somewhat normal now.  She is not hiding- but really does not come when I call for her.  She will watch me on the computer... and even perch right next to the computer chair on the floor.  A few minutes ago- I called for her to come upstairs so we could take a little nap.   She wont budge from the couch right now.

I had a pleasant surprise this afternoon. I heard the postal carrier drop off a package on my porch, but I was in the middle of something so didn't go get it right away. When I opened the door to retrieve the package, my long-lost "foster son" was on the porch, eating out of the dish of food I left outside for Angel. He was on the thin side to begin with, but looked even thinner. I don't know where he's been the last two weeks, but he hadn't been eating enough.
