Just a fellow dissing most of us.  Anyone got a cat that is a hell raiser that can give him a few scratches.

Phoenix, how is Urmel holding up?

Shar, I could read KB the post and let him loose......dead cat jokes indeed.  KB doesn't get mad, he gets EVEN!

It usually takes several posts of stupidity and idiocy for me to hide someone....that guy was a record.....one post and *poof*, he's gone!

Urmel is ok Thank you He was supposed to turn up today for a check up but quite frankly there is no need for that shit when he is fine so I saved the money which I don't have at present for that as well as the train fare and his displeasure waisting time in the box....

Nope he is fine...stll annoing his mum and still peeing around wtih pride...but I do hope that will come to an end in the near future

Life would be so much easier and cheaper if I could get my cats to do that

I was very surprised to wake up and find BOTH cats on the bed. The last time Angel got on the bed, Misty went off by herself and pouted, since the bed has always been HER territory. She gave Angel and me the cold shoulder for 24 hours (until I was eathing some chicken, when she suddenly became my best buddy again). Today she was right up on the bed with us and didn't seem to mind at all.

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get Sissy in a trap to get her spayed...she's about to have a litter, but the shelter said they can abort the kittens.....it's her second litter, her first didn't survive.  Then, mama kitty is next...she's pregnant too.....the Toby is in line for his neutering.  If I take them in a trap, it's $20, and they give them a rabies and distemper shot too.  Then I'm going to try to find homes for them.....Sissy is still skittish, but I think if she was brought inside with Toby, that she'd settle down and be okay.

I hope it doesn't backfire and she ends up really afraid of me!

Personally...I would wait until the kittens are delivered.  People always want a kitten (my brother)  and finding a shelter that specialize with cats and kittens is a good thing.  I wish that I can have one but Mom is very anti-cat (no dogs either).  It is enough with the neighbor's dogs coming over for the scraps (and scaring the coyotes away).

Summer was rolling on my bed a moment ago as if there would be a heck of a sunshine...which of course wasnt the case at 9pm She wasn't happy when I stroked her, obviously disturbed her joy

Afterwards I had dinner and pushed curry away to show him he isnt getting anything...following which he lied on my left leg kneeding his claws in my trouser as if he is pulling together himself big time to avoid jumping onto my plate...so of course, at the end I gave him a meat ball...after showing that much self discpline

My cat has been very pestery today.  She wants out.  That is not an option-  hot-humid flea weather here.

My cats are enjoying laying about on the floor where it isn't quite as warm and humid.
After I eat my supper, I think I might join them..

All are inside...except summer

That gives me the impression that her tiny bit of calling today was serious

So I think I better keep her inside the next few days, once I get her into my hands again

Actually, Shar, I want to get rid of her kittens brfore they are born.....one of the reasons she and her brother are orphans is because no one wanted them.  I know that's harsh, but the kind of life they'd have would be hard.  The weather, the dogs and other critters.....and her first litter she had didn't make it either.  I'm trying to convince my neighbor to take both of them.....but Sugar is so rambunctious, she's scare Sissy to death!  And Toby loves to tease her!  He'll sneak up the steps when she's outside and make sure she sees him.  Sugar has learned to go up the stairs to the first landing, Toby sits there, they've gone nose to nose, and so far so good.  But when she gets out of line, Toby will "remind" her who is the boss!  FFFFTTT-FFFFFFFFTTTTT!  But he's never hit her with his claws,  he seems to know that she's not going to hurt them.

It's the way I was brought up.  We needed cats for the barn, with 1 or 2 in the house.  Dogs was for the house protection, with a couple for herding.

What we hated was the strays because assholes think that it is okay to drop their animals.  Sooner or later, coyotes will get a hold of them or turn feral, which means disturbing the herds (often killing calfs)   We would see a dog with a broken limb and guess what we have to do...put it out of his misery.

I know what you're saying.  If the cat in question has FIV or Feline leukemia, they should be put down.  But abortion, especially if the cat is almost at the end of pregnancy, should not happen.  It she is at the beginning semester or if the cat has a history of miscarriages let mother Nature decide.

Misty surprised me by eating a couple of tidbits of a chicken egg roll. Normally, unless it's pure chicken, she'll turn her nose up at it. I expected Angel to eat her tidbits, and of course she did.

Angel is lying on Misty's yoga pillow while Misty naps on the bed. Someone's not going to be too happy if she wakes up from her nap, wanders into the living room, and sees that.

A little later....Misty did come out and see Angel on "her" pillow. She went up and confronted her, but Angel swatted her on the nose with her paw and she took off. At 5 lb., Misty is smart enough not to mess with a cat over twice her size.
