Might I suggest the series West Wing, and of course, you have to have the french version of "The Story of O" maybe include the videos based on some of the works of De Sade.

I wish Aylee, but he's not much for snickering at it and making fun of how bad they now are. That's more my speed.
And he's been watching tvland or whoever is running episodes of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and loving them. Me? I feel sugar shock coming on.

The I would just get him some Firefly or Babylon 5.  Or maybe Band of Brothers

Lately I have watched a few episodes (not in order) of How I Met Your Mother, and have rather enjoyed it.

i guess i'm a little wierd.  i don't see any point in purchasing TV shows.  How do you find time to watch them?

DesFIP -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/7/2011 6:38:35 PM)

We don't. The theory is that you get to indulge your nostalgia for your youth.  But really we've got shows we recorded last February that we haven't gotten around to watching.  So a dvd? Just going to sit on the shelf and collect dust.

How you feeling fluffy?

You don't ever have lazy days?

I really do not have anything that I wish to watch on TV most of the time, so having a TV show series on DVD is something that I will watch.

Some nights or days I am not feeling all that energetic and so popping in a DVD is a way to at least spend some time.

I suppose it is the same way that I make time for a movie or a book.  You just do it.

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/7/2011 7:05:16 PM)

i'm doing wonderfully! Master Rich is a good Master for me.  He is a good balance of vanilla and kink for a 24/7 relationship.

As to down time - i am usually sleeping (2 hours nap in the afternoons and 9 hours of sleep at night) or knitting when i am not cooking or doing chores.  There is a TV here with cable, but i find that i am not interested in the shows that are available... until baseball season begins again.

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/7/2011 7:51:52 PM)

Fluffy, I have 1364 movies and 589 tv shows stored on my computer.

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/7/2011 8:10:55 PM)

I got True Blood, both seasons.  Have not watch the 2nd season yet...I am waiting for college football to end. *cheering for LSU, flipping off A&M*

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/7/2011 10:34:55 PM)

It took a couple of weeks to get to TB's second season for me, but I've watched it twice.  I am still interested in how they handle Bill's kidnapping.....they seem to be drifting from the books a bit more each season, but I still like the series.  And don't spoil the third season for me, ok?  I'm on the 5th reading of the book series again.....I just love the books!  The possibilties were endless if they'd stayed closer to the books plots, but hey.....I'm awaiting the next book patiently.....dammit!

The one program I like to watch now is "My name is Earl", but it's only on late at night, on one channel.  Overstock has all 4 seasons on dvd, so once I get back on track financially, I may start to get them there....unless I can find them at Wally world cheaper.  I never did watch much network tv, it's always the cable channels that I watch.  Food Network and Discovery are 2 faves.....

LadyHibiscus -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/7/2011 10:43:26 PM)

The tv is on a lot, for parrot and me. Foodtv, the science and nature shows...I don't sit there focused on the thing, but I do enjoy it.

oooh yes, West Wing!  I have all but the final season... and can watch it over and over!

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/8/2011 7:14:08 AM)

No fair...

DesFIP -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/8/2011 9:44:52 AM)

If he's just vegging out, he's watching football. I can foresee withdrawal setting in soon. lol

Me I watch Clean House, How do I Look, What Not to Wear. And my daughter and I both love watching Guy Fieri's Diners, Dives and Drive Ins. But I rarely get control of the remote.

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/8/2011 11:15:14 AM)

I HATE PEOPLE!!!!!  I HOPE there is a special place in hell for people who dump animals....one of my little stray cats I've been feeding crawled up into my engine, and as I was driving, he fell out and I ran him over, fatally injuring him.  Got him with both wheels.  He was so shy, he'd just gotten up the nerve to actually come to my door.  He spent his time next door too.  I'm heartbroken....I couldn't do a damn thing for him.  I can still see him just laying in the street, waiting to die.  I went back for him, and he's already gone, someone must have moved the body.

People who leave animals behind are fucktards, the lowest form of life.....I hope whoever was responsible for him being here rots in the hottest place in Hell.

I am so sorry, my dear friend. Take comfort that his time with you was filled with love and a growing sense of trust. You gave him a home and a sense of belonging, and one day, when you cross the Rainbow Bridge, he is going to give you a huge hug.

sorry to hear that s2s [&o]

Spicy appears to have had whatever incident, too, outside as he hates it when I stroke his tail (he was outside for 12 hours 2 nights ago)...will put rescrue remedy on it later, once I find it, even when I am already dreading his big hissing reaction...a few years ago it helped wonders when he was severly limping...so I hope that will sort it and not cause a bigger concern as right now I can't afford any vet bills....and Spicy and his mum were also dumped years ago before my colleagues and I rehomed that cat family.

On a different note, one cat my parents got, got into their area by accident. She crawled into her owners car and they weren't aware of that fact (somewhere underneath, dont know if it was by the engine or wherever) and after a bumpy pretty long ride she jumped undetected off once that car came to a hold...(3 villages further) ...we later figured out her owners but they left them then with my parents as they had assumed that she is a boy and they were keen on her being a girl (which she was...after all). However, if their owners wouldn't have been figured out it could also have had the impression as if she would have been dumped, when actually she wasn't originally...just saying that on a few rare occaions they aren't dumped...those critters who are so mischieveous...

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/8/2011 12:58:51 PM)

I am sorry to hear about the cat s2s....

But aside from that I do believe I am hallucinating. I could swear I see a post from Holly.
