Aylee sorry about the break in and the crisis... But, I have to say, stuffed animals can be evil. I mean they play evil critters in some horror movies.

I soooooo agree...there was recently a movie about ghosts (a documentary about paranormal phenomena, not a spielberg movie) where one family got freaked out as they got a giraffe from africa and since then they had strange encounters in the house...and they even filmed that this giraffe has been moved during night time by an invisible source [&:] Seriously, I am sooooooo glad that my stuffed friends are at my parents home, before they might start to play such tricks on me [sm=couch.gif]

Wow, just checking in and y'all haven't been saying much, have you? Where is Holly? Hope everyone is getting used to the idea of January. Personally, it's a bit of a nasty shock...and I am ready for some do-over, or at least that Hermione gizmo where she can do a time rewind and be in three places at once! Because that whole physics thing? Could be mythical. COULD be! [:D]

Well, week number 2 at the new job...it's going okay....totally mindless work, which suits me just fine. It's mostly young girls on the afternoon shift, so it can get to be some kind of hen party.....overall, it's not a bad place to be for me right now. The job is processing paperwork for Blue Cross and Medicare.....I can see now why doctors hate to accept Medicare......they get about 30%, and that may be high, of what they'd normally get for their services. No matter what anyone says about the cost of medical care, what they are getting back from medicare doesn't even cover the expenses of doing things. This isn't to trigger any political nonsense or anything, just an observation. Yes, everyone has an opinion on the cost of health care, and personally, I think it's out of control, but doctors should be able to make a living too! On a related note....when I got the explanation of the bill for my appendectomy a few years ago, the original total was slightly over $32,000....however, there was a "hospital discount" of about $24,000, bringing the actual payment of just a bit over $8000....WTF is with the discount????? I didn't understand that.....why not just charge the $8000 instead? Go figure!

I was thinking it was an English (British) accent, but it could have been German. Those are usually the ones that are done cheesy in stupid "B" movies. I was hoping that when people read it that they would insert the accent in their minds while doing so. It was a lame attempt at a joke and it obviously failed. Please do not spend anymore time on it. Just chuck it in with the rest of the 99% of the stuff I say that is not important.
