It's a nice Autumn day here in New Jersey. The sun is shining and it is a little cool - sweater weather. No snow yet. (They did have snow in West Virginia where i used to live.)

Morning all. I am still sick as a dog. But the coughing is less. So I should be grateful for small things. But I'm not. I want to over this cold now.

Well, because of T-day coming, I need my shelf's and fridge and freezer rather cleaned out because of all the ingredients and leftovers and such. So this is the time of year when I start scrounging around to see what I can put togeather for dinner that I have in the house to use stuff up. Last night was bbq'd ribs, hashbrowns, and peas. Tonight was a home-made "homestyle bake." You know those boxed things that you can buy at the store, well this was one of those things excepts everything was home-made. Stuffing, smashed taters, and chicken w/veggies in sauce, applesauce, and brownies for dessert.

aaaahhhh...like pot luck.....makes sense now. I really should invite myself to dinner at your place......I just can't wait til the gaps in my gums close....Ii'm really getting sick of eating mooshy canned pasta and applesauce......I soooo still want a steak! [>:]

I always think of pot luck as those picnics or dinners you go to where everyone brings a dish. You are welcome for dinner at any time. There is even a spare room / guest room. [:)]

2 more days before I see the doctor about my sleep study. I know I have at least 2 panic attacks (I was hooked up to the cpap machine and that is enough to drive anyone crazy). We are putting Georgie to sleep today. He is just so far gone and I will miss him. This heart monitor and I are about to come to blows. I want this damn thing off of me. Someone send me some chocolate. I am going through withdrawals. 10 more days before I get my next check. I hate the holidays because of the commercialization. I just realize that I can spell that long word... Just give me turkey breast with the skin, mashed taters, green bean casserole, rolls and I will be happy...

Well, Georgie is gone now. After burying him, I threw some bluebonnets as a reminder. I will remember him in my own way.
