Unless you can explain why I should believe anything they say that has no independent support, I just can't see why i should believe them.

We're not debating whether or not you have a good reason -- the fact is, you don't believe them. You think the military has lied so often in the past that you now don't believe anything they say. You have stated this OVER and OVER again. That is NOT misrepresenting you, Julia. That is your belief. Unless you've been lying the whole time.
