Greetings my (biological) sister's bf was sent to Iraq and then he requested to go back...twice. He's proud to serve his country and to help those people in Iraq who are in need of our help to get them to a better situation. He and almost every one in his unit requested to go back, many of them requested to be sent back more than one time, and often as soon as they got back here, they were requesting another deployment. He told me they loved how grateful the people were that somebody, anybody was helping them gain liberty from the oppression they knew under Insane Hussein. And he told me they are frustrated over the misinformation being plastered over the tv screens. They hate that they are being cast as being upset that they are there. They hate that the media is spreading hate for the job they're doing. The media's cast on what our men and women are doing downplays the good they've done for the people of Iraq. It makes it look like nothing has been done for Iraq and that's a complete and total falsehood. Our men and women in the armed forces know what they've done for the people of Iraq and they are proud of it, as they should be...and i'm proud of them for doing it. Thank you to all of you who are willing to put your lives on the line for not only this country, but also for our world, something the US doesn't have to ask you to do but it has on many occassions (WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Somalia...and the list goes on) and you are always proud to be of service, even when there are those who try to bring you down for it. Thank you! -santalia{JR}t
