Dear moki1984, Ladies and Gentlemen; I have most of my toy bags filled with "The Toy Bag" equipment before Ms. Heartwood sold the name and flogger business to Ms. Lori Dwinelle. I often get mistaken for Lori's booth. [Chuckles] Contact web sites are www.toybag.com and www.heartwoodwhips.com. DeTails Toys - www.DeTailsToys.com have a lovely selection of floggers that are just as good as Sarah's Lashes. I have purchased more of the cat's and the rose end flail. It feels like a bunch of little fists and is a high impact weight to it without much effort. The chain flails are rather good. I will add, that DeTails Toys will custom make floggers and has made a matched pair of floggers for a friend of mine who does 'fire flogging.' Most of my canes are by Dr. Z (local) however, they have put their business on hold at this time. However, there is a failure rate of "zero" with their canes. In addition, a few canes have been purchased through The Toy Bag. I have other canes, to include aluminum arrow shafts (without the points), carbon arrow shaft (without the point), oak dowels in different diameters and treated by Sir Michael of West Virginia (gift). I have also purchased from other vendors a variety of 'canes' and 'rods.' Some of my ratan canes come from my salad days as a Master and are approximately 30 years old or older as some were owned previous by Masters. My single tails (six in all) -- are 3 Three foot signal whips by David Morgan. Being a 'trick cracker' before a solid foot hold in the scene, I recommend in the comment box for those who don't have much strength in their arms to braid for a 'target cracker.' All of the Morgan whips are 8 plat. I do have 2 Rod (Roddy) Williams whips. I have a custom snake 18 plat 3 foot snake with a 'deer cracker.' (The Deer cracker is like an arrow shaft and will draw blood) and a 3 foot snake 12 plat. I also have a 3 foot 24 plat Joe Wheeler snake whip. I do have 6 quirts that are Tex-Mex made with different leather ends. These would be found in Western Tack Shops. The seventh quirt is made by person unknown and given as a gift. I have approximately 10 paddles. Most are made by The Toy Bag. Others were hand made by one of the Dominants I came to know, made of Cherry. Cheese boards, pledge paddles and other pervertables can come in different places; from The Dollar Store, AC Moore and or Michaels (Craft Store). I do have some pieces made by "Leather" Bob Grimes; the same "Leather Bob" Grimes on the rear credits of "Screw the Roses--Give me the thorns; by Master Phil Miller and Molly Devon. Leather Bob vends frequently at The Crucible in Washington, DC and Black Rose conventions. I trust his cuffs fully. I prefer the use of hasps that are secure in good leather. I have most of my leather collars (as well as chain collars) that he has custom made. His prices are extremely affordable. He will do custom work. For those who are starting out and cannot afford a huge expense, I highly recommend buying one (1) good flogger instead of three (3) cheap floggers. In some of my presentations on flogging -- I have demonstrated by taking the flogger in it's made shape and size; by taking back some tails and tuck under your gripping hand, you can make several sensations. Taking all but one (1) lash back of a flogger--you have a "poor man's single tail." Taking all but two (2) lashes back and tucking the rest under the gripping hand, you have two tails/lashes like a quirt. Taking all but 9 (nine) tails/lashes and tuck the rest under the gripping hand on the flogger's handle--you have a cat o nine tail (mild). If the tails are long you can add wood or metal beads (often these beads are found for Afro-American hair styles or in craft stores. Don't use plastic or glass and or any bead that will break) and place them in different areas of the flogger tails. If the lashes are too long, you can knot them in different places but--make sure the knots don't touch each other so position them in the different levels or lengths of the lash/tail--the idea is to have the flogger lashes to hang close together. You can take three (3) of the tails and braid them and at the end use a rubber band or sewing thread to tie them together for temporary 'braided cat o nine.' You can remove half of the tails/lashes back and tuck under the gripping hand which will turn the flogger into a more stingy flogger. One can also take the flogger and twist it like to twist water out like a mop and hold it until the last moment. By time it twists free, the flogger will have hit the target. The sensations by a deer flogger done in this manner will feel like a cow hide flogger. In short--can increase the impact sensation and strength. Rope is a nice plus to any toy bag. Bulky though. I use the backing from a notepad or a disguarded 'greeting card' as to tuck under the rope as I wrap the wrists and ankles. This keeps the rope from digging into the skin uncomfortably and at the pressure/pulse points. I use this 'trick' when I do body rope dress with those who may be full figured, as not to pinch the folds of their skin. Once done into a corset like 'dressing' or other rope work--remove the cardboard and you have the finished product. The 'victim' has a pleasant experience as well--not being pinched, pulled and tussled. I also use cardboard for chain bondage without cuffs. More for comfort reasons. If you wish to use leather for cuffs yet, you cannot afford to purchase the cuffs you want; you may wish to use leather belts of the same width and length. Wrap like you would an 'ace' bandage for a sprain and then add a machine ring (hardware store next to the chains) or a "D" ring as to create a bondage connecting point. One can add 'horse halter tubing' to commercial cuffs or the wrapped leather for tender skin and comfort. If you are unable to find halter tubes--you can buy fleece and or artificial fleece at material shops. Still stuck for ideas--use socks you don't use or mismatched socks. Just make sure you don't leave lumps or gathers under the wrap/cuffs. Just a few thoughts ... Respectfully submitted for consideration, Lady Hugs
