I am sad to see so many, I remember going to meet one, a cpl of years ago and got duped out of my money. I learned from that time on that this section of the Lifestyle was not real and it is a sad state of affairs. For us people who are real and looking for that beautiful Domme to serve. Thanks jt

sigh....duped out of your money? how was that exactly? just a heads up, one experience, is one experience, you dont need to make blanket assumptions about the whole section of the community or that the only beautiful Dommes are the ones that dont charge money... there are really crappy free ones and really awesome ones that charge...takes all kinds to make a world. one thing to keep in mind in this pity party, is that when a male begs to "submit", "to surrender", "to give everything".....then IMPO they are the ones duping (read: lying) to their prospective mistress when they add the caviat "everything except money" you are there to enrich her life, to make it better, dont you think it is more likely that a couple hundred dollars to pay the rent will make you more valuable and useful to her in her life then your cum drinking skills?

It's about as valid as this tired topic. jtont, I'd like to introduce you to the search feature. It's the button at the top right of your screen that says "Search." You should find no shortage of people who agree with you in the archives. You'll also find no shortage of people who don't. I dare you to do searches for "pro domme" "pro dom" "money dommes" "money doms" "pros" and "prostitution" and then read EVERYTHING that gets returned. After you've read it all then please do come back and bring this up again (if you've the stomach for it). Welcome to cm, you're off to a wonderful start. Edited to add: Be sure you set the search engine to go back as far as possible. I wouldn't want you to be deprived of any of that reading.

I couldn't agree with you more but it seems that is all they ask for where is the love in the lifestyle I understand there are lots of fake people out there.

In all seriousness to the OP, I'm not a pro but I have known several, and they all were very skilled and talented women. It sounds like you need to be better educated as far as finding a quality Pro Domme and negotiating exactly what you want. Based on the whiny and vague tone of your post, you're not giving her (or anyone) a lot to work with.

I can see you are well on your way to [awaiting approval]. But you are comparing apples to oranges--- The guys that got a kink on them that will take an act of congress, the sacrifice of 16 vestal virgins, and the Camden, New Jersey Garbage union to clean up after are gonna have to renumerate that. If one can look beyond the 'Mistres, cna I smel u r farts' upon first meeting a girl, maybe have a little roundness to life, actually be capable of human interaction and thought for the best part of a day, have an interest outside licking toe jams and dirty panties for brunch --- then one has a fair shot at finding 'love in the lifestyle', pard... While there is usually a considerable lack of reality in much of "professional domination," not all professional dominatrices should be painted with the same broad brush. There are a few here and there that are the real deal. Of course, most "submissive males" can't handle the real deal. Such irony!

The restaurant analogy is exact, and what it points out is that an awful lot of people, incliding you, jt, don't know how to reason critically. There's a name for the logical mistake you make here: generalization from insufficient evidence. Sure, there are ripoff artists among "ProDommes"--including women who cater to men whose kink is being ripped off. There are also just plain lame, fake Dommes. I know girls who work in dungeon-type places who aren't even dominant in their lives or natures--it's just a job. Some do it well, some badly. I don't begrudge them their livelihood, I've been a sex worker Myself. Pretense is part of what you're being paid for. Then there are the "lifestyle Pro" Dommes like some of the amazing Women who post on here--Diana Vesta comes to mind--who are true Dominants and who dominate professionally because it's a way to pay the bills doing what they love and being able to take the time to get better at it by learning with multiple, hoepfully long-term, submissives. It would be nice if there was a distinction between such true Professionals and the by-the-hour roleplayers, but there isn't. Often they work side by side in the same houses. But most often a true "lifestyle Pro" Domme will post some writing about what She does and who She is, or you can establish that by talking to Her. I'd say look for that--for thoughtfulness rather than just words designed to excite prospective clients and some hot pics in fetishwear.

Oh my goodness! I am sure there are some Pros who are rip-offs but for the most part, they are profficient, effective, and perform a wonderful service. I, for one, am happy they are available.

Funny, but I think that pro dom did a great job -- he's still suffering and moaning from the experience!
