ORIGINAL: jtont I am sad to see so many, I remember going to meet one, a cpl of years ago and got duped out of my money. I learned from that time on that this section of the Lifestyle was not real and it is a sad state of affairs. For us people who are real and looking for that beautiful Domme to serve. Thanks jt Not a lot I can add to what others have said, including Ms Suz's big red scream, which I felt like giving as well... The restaurant analogy is exact, and what it points out is that an awful lot of people, incliding you, jt, don't know how to reason critically. There's a name for the logical mistake you make here: generalization from insufficient evidence. Sure, there are ripoff artists among "ProDommes"--including women who cater to men whose kink is being ripped off. There are also just plain lame, fake Dommes. I know girls who work in dungeon-type places who aren't even dominant in their lives or natures--it's just a job. Some do it well, some badly. I don't begrudge them their livelihood, I've been a sex worker Myself. Pretense is part of what you're being paid for. Then there are the "lifestyle Pro" Dommes like some of the amazing Women who post on here--Diana Vesta comes to mind--who are true Dominants and who dominate professionally because it's a way to pay the bills doing what they love and being able to take the time to get better at it by learning with multiple, hoepfully long-term, submissives. It would be nice if there was a distinction between such true Professionals and the by-the-hour roleplayers, but there isn't. Often they work side by side in the same houses. But most often a true "lifestyle Pro" Domme will post some writing about what She does and who She is, or you can establish that by talking to Her. I'd say look for that--for thoughtfulness rather than just words designed to excite prospective clients and some hot pics in fetishwear.
