What is your Tim Tebow assessment? ----- My NFL week 15 observations are: (1) GB looked frighteningly unstoppable v. the NYG. Aaron Rogers is scary good, as is Clay Mathews. All of their losses have been by four (4) points or less. (2) May of the SB favorites have frighteningly good aerial attacks: GB, NE, NO, PHI, and IND. The more balanced teams have good QBs at the helm: PITT, BAL, ATL. KC, CHI, and the NYJ have X-factors at QB. (3) The ground game will only aid BAL, NYJ, ATL, or KC (who all need to run the ball) if they are out front of their opponents in the second half of a playoff game. A sixty minute ground game approach will not likely propel any of these teams into the SB, but cold weather conditions might help aid these teams v. pass oriented teams. (4) NE, GB, IND, and PITT have the best established coaching staffs. (5) My SB prediction is: NE defeats PITT to win the AFC crown. PHI defeats GB to win the NFC crown. NE defeats PHI to win the whole thing. ATL and BAL are my long shots to sneak in unexpectedly. NYJ, KC, NFC WEST Victor, and NO are one-and-done. (Hard to predict this accurately because the matchups are not out yet.) I do think that BAL and the NYJ can knock out both IND and KC. IND, however, might send BAL home out the gate.
