Yep, that's the one. And one of the announcers said the word from Pitt. is that the nose is not broken.

Was a great game. Quite a few good games today.
I am anxiously awaiting tomorrow night's game.

Adam Shefler < sp > reporting that the Broncos have released Josh McDaniels. Not a huge surprise. Makes me sad tho, Unlike Mangina, I had all the respect in the world for Josh and like Crennel and Weiss, wanted to see him succeed. I will say I thought he hung his collegues out to dry by denying he knew anything about the taping of the SF walkthru. That was disappointing to me.

Polamalu made the big play.

Harbaugh allowed the big mistake.  Ravens had that game won.  All they had to do was rush for yardage, eat the clock, punt it, have confidence in their D.  Anyone else think that perhaps there was some bad decision making in the final minutes of the game?  Thoughts?

Oh Jets, Steelers have you sometime in the next few weeks.

Josh started out rough with the Jay Cutler fiasco,

YAY!!!!!

The guy was a total loser.  He took over a team with a strong offense and a defense in need of rebuilding, and kept the defense and rebuilt the offense.  The players he got rid of, he gave away draft picks to be rid of - especially Peyton Hillis.  Meanwhile, Cutler is pushing a no-talent Chicago team toward the playoffs solely by his own determination.

The Broncos have hardly any talent left, they are the worst team in the weakest division of the NFL, and there are plenty of empty seats in the stadium.

And he happened to be in New England when Spygate happened, and there was another Spygate while he was here, and he denied all knowledge of the taping.  Uh huh - even though he was aware of the tape and how illegal it was, he had too much integrity to view it but not enough to report it.

A liar, a cheat, and an incompetent.  Now to rebuild the Broncos without the draft picks that he gave away.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/6/2010 7:18:25 PM)

Steven, no talent is a bit harsh, don't you think?  That being said, I do think the Cutler trade and fallout from it was a bad, bad thing.

DarkSteven -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/6/2010 7:29:14 PM)

Cutler, Hillis, Brandon Marshall...he dismantled the team.  Champ Bailey is still an outstanding player, but you don't win games based solely on cornerbacks.  He also passed on Matt Cassell.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/6/2010 7:31:42 PM)

Yep, Matt Cassel is responsible for the Cutler trade.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (12/6/2010 8:04:41 PM)

Fines were announced today:

McClain $40,000 for the hit on Heath Miller
Ngata $15,000 for Ben's broken nose

LaM looks to have lost his Rabbit's foot.

Polamalu stripping Flacco was a huge mistake committed by the Raven's offense, and the SUN reporters have noted that protection must always slide to protect a QBs blind side.

There is now talk that Cam Cameron is playing out the season with his job on the line.

Dear Jets:

Please. Explain to me Whiskey Tango Foxtrot you were doing? You let those pansies from Massachusetts slap you around like a red-headed step child.

And what the hell was up with the defense looking confused - you jackasses weren't even set on the line - you were literally standing straight up when Brady snapped the ball.

Ah well. It could be worse though - you guys coulda went 17-0 (with a little help from a lip reading coach), only to blow the big game. The sun shines on a dogs ass some days, I suppose.

I hope you don't collapse towards the end of the season.

According to Collinsworth that was not a blown coverage. He laid that one on Flacco for not getting rid of the ball sooner but as fast as Troy was in the backfield I dunno how Flacco could have gotten rid of the ball.
