Holmes is a play maker, and it is obvious that Sanchez loves him, it's a good fit.  Jets fans should be joyous!

Childress evidently lost the locker room at some point this season.  His players were tweeting that they were playing for each other, not him.  Not sure what was going on with the entire Randy Moss debacle, that was weird.  And I think letting Moss go had something to do with Chilly being fired., among other things.

I agree with all that and can't really defend Childress.  If you're the head coach of a dysfunctional team, they have every reason to axe you.  But I think the fucking players have to take some responsibility too.  They're not playing for Childress?  How about playing for your PAYCHECK, you overpaid galloot.

For what it's worth, I'd get rid of Fisher after this season too.  That team is about ready to collapse.

Sports analysts are predicting that either Fisher or Young will be gone next year (as in not get their contract extension), it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

And I agree, the players (professionals), should be able to go out and try to keep the team together.  Dysfunction screws up everything.

Wow,  I have to admit I was completely wrong about the Red Heads ability to effectively take over the Cowboys.  It would have been a vastly different season had they gone through training camp from the start with this type of focus.

Dallas is looking great.  A few missteps cost them the game yesterday, but it was almost theirs.  What a difference.

Jerry Jones needs to do what's right and fire the GM, which is himself.

He will never fire himself.  That's why Wade had to go.

They will never be a premier team again until he gets a GM that really knows what is going on.

Leave it to Pats fans to get all excited over a victory against the Lions...

Meanwhile I'm not ready to say that Jerry Jones should fire himself, but I WILL say that he should have fired Wade Phillips like approximately when I said he should have.  That was when they were something like 1-4 or 1-5.

I do believe I saw  a post by a Jets fan showing excitement over a victory against the 2-8 Bengals.

Looks back to Post # 5244..... yep... I did see a Jets fan excited about beating a 2-8 team.

How can a Pats fan not be excited?  Expectations were not huge coming into a season with so many new players, yet they do it, not surprised by any of it.  It is a model franchise that has it together, there are too few of them in the league, in my opinion.  Plus, Wes Welker......mmmnnn

Exactly, Katy !  In addition we lost Kevin Faulk early on, that was a huge blow. Who woulda thunk that little Jet's orphan, Woodhead, coulda filled Faulks shoes so well. We also lost Moss, that was not just a singular loss, but changed the offensive scheme dramatically. Mankins was a hold out until a few weeks ago. Our defense is not good, allowing way too many points, altho doing great on the turnovers.
Most of us fans weren't very optimistic going into this season and with those losses, missing players it looked even bleaker. We kinda chaulked this season up as a re building season.  Sooo, hell yea, we get excited at every win. But what fan doesn't ?

Thanx, Anne ! You know we " cheaters " need to stick together.

BTW... did you see where Rex  " I'm not going to kiss Belichicks' rings " Ryan is ummm.. well..... kissing Belichicks ass ?

"There's a lot of really good coaches in this league, (but) really there’s only one guy that’s the best,” Ryan said. “I like a challenge. It motivates you…. I'm still not in Bill Belichick's class. And I know that. But I know one thing: He’s going to get my best shot." - RR

http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/

I'll give him his props tho. So far, he's not giving any bulletin board material for BB and the boys. I'm not so sure he can stayed as reserved the whole week. I expect some trash talk out of the Jets coaches or players by game day.

I am soo looking forard to the re match with the Jets on MNF. It's a must win for us. Neither teams are the teams who met earlier this year. Should be a killer game.

The Pats n Jets are like the Steelers n Ravens - on a collision course to claim either division or wildcard.  Of course if all goes well, that is.
