Its a testament to Belicheck that he knew a WR on his team could kick a PAT.

BAL now plays on a short week at ATL on THU. Ray Lewis and Anquan Boldin are each against THU night games and going to an 18 game schedule. The 18 game schedule will just reduce the career life of good players while giving the 2-4 year NFL players more coin. It will also dilute the attention span of the fans and make the NFL a bit more synonymous with the NHL, NBA, and MLB who arguably have worthless regular seasons.

I hope this measure is defeated.

I favor ATL over BAL: short week, playing at home in a dome favors the Falcons. BAL will need a pick six from Ed Reed to turn the tables. Flacco plays pretty well on the road.

We are witnesses to a rise of NFC teams: ATL, NYG, and PHI as contenders for the SB.

TO caught his 1500th pass last night.

Troy Polamalu and James Harrison delivered some tough clean hits on CIN's last drive. The Harrison hit won PITT the game. (The key for defensive players is delivering a body blow instead of a head shoot, and leading with the shoulder instead of the helmet.) WR's and TEs are definitely the most exposed players to injury.

If we track LaM off field routines, we can see how they have bearing on the JETS; flying seems to correlate into a comeback win this week.

Gotta root for Peyton Hillis.

Curious if Ed Reed can lead the league in INTs despite missing the first six (6) weeks of the season.

Are you suggesting that Welker is incapable of speech or communication of any kind ?
Having a player volunteer the information that he kicked in high school/college....or better still having seen one of your position players goofing off and kicking field goals during practice.....is not all that remarkable.
Bellicheck as a coach is rightfully lauded for his defensive acumen...for his rings and such...but for having Welker kick a field goal.....nah,I'm not getting excited about that.

Defensive acumen? The pats have one of the worst D's in the NFL (ranked LAST in 3rd down Defense).

Not really. I really REALLY hate the fucking steelers lol

He only feels that way because of what happened to him on the field a couple years ago:

Beilichick has major NFL smartness, all of that film study and prep.  Steelers get 'em next, can't wait, always love that game almost as much as I enjoy the bad, spittin' Ravens.

Peyton Hillis....how do the Broncos feel now?  LOL

I love Randle El, so glad he is back.

edit to add....Steelers have tons of injuries after the Bengals game.

I need a towel.  That TD at the end of the Jets / Browns game was better than sex.

I don't think my heart can last through the season.

(Edited because my hands are still shaking.)

I would love to be wrong.  He's been in charge of the offense this entire time so why anything with that group should be different is a mystery.

May your Steelers thrash the Patriots tonight.

I think he is probably getting to take full control and say/do things he could not do previously.

I am looking forward to watching the game, I am bundled up in my blanket and ready for some good football.

Why all the hate, flcouple ?

I fully expected a beatdown by the Steelers, but was ecstatically pleased watching the Pats disect the Steelers. That was a huge win for us. The Steelers ain't no easy team to pull off an upset on. Especially at home.

Now I have to go give my friend Katylied a big ol hug.

mbmbn-
who hates it when Pats play the Steelers or Colts, since I have many friends who are fans of either team.

So they pull the McNabb for Grossman running a two minute drill then they turn around and give him and 80 milliong dollar extension.

The Redskins are always good for a laugh.

Oh, the Steelers game was painful to watch.  Please cut Jeff Reed, he is bad this season.  Tom Brady looked great and also dominant on the sideline.  I can't hate the Pats, they have Wes!  And mbmbn -thanks for the hug.

Steelers get rid of their version of the idiot kicker, and one who is franchise tagged.  Can't wait to see where he lands.
