I detest both the Cowboys and Eagles so watching the Eagles choke again is ok with me. Now that the Steelers are out of it I would like to see Brett Favre and the Vikings take it all or barring that the Chargers.

Dallas whomped Philly.

Looks like Pete Carroll may be leaving USC for the Seahawks job:

Tomorrow's games:

Ravens vs Patriots

Packers vs Cardinals

I'm picking Baltimore and Green Bay (who?) to win.

Dallas seems to be on the upswing. That must make you feel a lot better about them! And switching to Carrol couldn't hurt Seattle much, we'll see what happens.

I'm picking the Packers and the Patriots tomorrow but no blowouts like today.

Sanity, it does indeed make me feel better about them; I had questioned their heart, and last night, they showed some ; just getting over that damned "no playoff win" hump has to lift a lot off their shoulders, but I hope they don't get complacent.

DomImus, I agree, I don't think either game today will be a blowout; if either are, it'd be Green Bay over AZ.

Patriots are going to take the Ravens today. Yep yep yep. Sorry but even without Welker it's a done deal.

If the first half of the Ravens/Pats game is any indication I do no have a future in football handicapping.

Maybe the Cardinals will dispatch the Packers and save the day. I don't care for either team but a Packer loss would be fun after the way they jerked around Favre.

The way they jerked Favre around? That's got to be a joke, right?

Favre is awful, I used to think he was precious, but his stunt during training camp cured me.  I want to play somewhere, for someone, but not until after camp, because I don't want to go to camp, boohoo.  He is the best prima donna in the nfl, I will give him that much.

No, only Jack Del Rio is precious now...

Damn, the Cardinals had to make it interesting, didn't they??

Jack is for sure.

I think that many of us called the games wrong, I certainly had some upsets and regrouping to do moving forward.

Packers lose 51 to 45. I only hope that Dallas can knock the Vikings and cry baby Brett out of the playoffs.

I know DeMarcus Ware would like a word with Favre. That much I can tell you. Just watch how Ware chased *all* the way around the offense *and* defense to knock the ball out of mcnabb's hand Saturday. I saw a sign in the stands that read "Hey Donovan, you better beware of DeWare or you're going to get Mcnabbed from behind." And it was so so true.

Once is DeWare is locked on, the QB....any QB had better Beware. During Saturday's game, I watched him go through another Cowboy to sack mcnabb. Their line can't protect their QB....apparently even our guys can't get in Ware's way.

I still have the image of brees getting planted on his OWN 50 yard line, dead center of the saints' symbol saved on my DVR.

Announcer 1: "Guess who!?"
Announcer 2: "DeMarcus Ware."
Announcer 1: "Lucky guess."

Yes yes. For the 'Boys to be successful this weekend, you need only say aloud Tony Dungy's "magic phrase."

*ahem*

"The Cowboys have *NO CHANCE* of beating the vikings."

I laughed heartily when I read this (and the subsequent "WTF" post.)

Without Welker, Lady Brady's confidence was just too shaken.
