And you have to give Aaron Rodgers a lot of credit.  He's playing like a pro.

I guess Brady Quinn is beyond repair, he's reportedly out for the season with the busted finger.
McNabb will be starting tomorrow.  I don't have the NFL network and hate that I am missing the Thursday games.
The Steelers continue the game of musical punters.  Berger has been re-signed, after being let go earlier this month when it was decided he was ineffective with a hamstring injury.  Remember, he would punt, then jump around holding his thigh.  Good times.

It's tough living in Denver this time of year, when the Broncos begin throwing away their season like clockwork.

Either the Chargers and Broncos will make the playoffs because each division has at least one team that makes it, no other reason.  Then they will be blown out of the postseason posthaste.

The Broncos won back to back SBs in 1998-1999, and have since won a single postseason game.  They've been amazingly consistent, and always playing below their level.

Try being a 49'ers fan in Ontario, Canada with a 3-8 season..... I'm praying for Singletary and the team every day.

(Ok, so it was my decision to leave the Bay Area, but the team is still having an "off" season - for the last decade or so.....)

It will be hard to put McNabb back in at this point.  But is the backup ready for the remainder of the season?

Mr. McNabb wasn't benched for the second half of the last game; he said in the press conference, later that he didn't know there were two halves to a football game.

Seriously, I listened to his comments at the press conference and, again, I was impressed. He's a classy guy. He may have lost a step or two (or whatever) but, let's remember: This is a guy that played an entire playoff game on a broken ankle?

Hi SasseeNshy - I am looking forward to the game on Sunday.  We just re-signed Davenport (I affectionately call him the "pooper").  And how about McNabb, he sure knows how to redeem himself.  Gotta wash my new Steelers hoodie before Sunday...

Make or break time for the Chargers. The next 5 days will determine whether or not this loaded team has a shot at the playoffs.Considering the talent ,someones head must roll if they don't get in.

Yeah, the Giants are looking pretty unstoppable right now with or without Burress.  Jason Tuck is a one-man wrecking crew, as Troy Aikman put it.

My Jets are playing like a buncha morons against the Broncos.  Losing this game would bring them right back the rest of the pack in the AFC.  Meanwhile the Ravens are starting to play lights-out.

Derek Anderson is probably out for the remainder of the season, not that it matters much to the Browns at this point.  The commentators said the biggest issue regarding him is that his asking price (in future draft choices) just hit the botton.

Will Bernie Kosar come out of retirement to play out the string?

It's a happy day when my 49'er's beat my brand new FIL's team, the Buffalo Bill's 10-3 becoming the first West Coast team to win on the East Coast apparently. Didn't catch if that was for this season or not.

And to top it off, BSU is #9 in the BCS standings... Oh ya, happy day!

The Steelers D is looking oh-so-tough.  Although I didn't like that unfortunate late hit we put on Wes Welker.
