I've been a Jet fan for as long as I can remember (back to the days of Wesley Walker), and I can't figure out what's wrong with them. I'm pretty sure Kris Jenkins is hurt (he was knocked down during the Titans game and said he was fine, but has played like crap the last two games), and the secondary was never their strength, so I can see why they're giving up points, but I don't understand why offensively they have suddenly become so ineffective after scoring 30+ points in three straight games, two of them against pretty good defenses. And Favre has been pretty inaccurate lately. Taking all the games together, I don't see him as much of an upgrade over Chad Pennington. (We were glad to get rid of Pennington because he's a schmuck, not because he's a bad quarterback.) quote:

ORIGINAL: Lordandmaster At least the Giants are going to the playoffs. What the hell has happened to the Jets? Being a looooooong-suffering JETS fan, I can tell you that we are used to this. The JETS are the NFL's version of the mutts ... errrrrr ... METS; every once in a while, they show great promise only to dash our hopes to bits. It's nothing new. It's expected. Wake me up from my NFL coma when the JETS finally make it back to a Super Bowl (I leave the hope of winning one to my grand children). Webe Eubanks should burn, forever!
