The latest news I've seen has been pics of Matt Leinart (on TMZ) with a bevvy of girls partying.  Some were said to be underage.

He's looking more and more like Todd Marinovich, and not just because he's a southpaw

Lots of free agent moves went down...... I think we're going to have an entertaining season, pretty lady.

Seattle's making some major changes to their running game. New coach, new blocking, new running backs.

I agree, it's going to be an interesting season.

Alexander's rushing didn't fall off so much as Steve Hutchinson fell off the Seahawks' roster, and without him opening up holes Alexander had no place to go. Hopefully that deficiency is being addressed this season, and it sounds like it is.

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - If the Green Bay Packers are ravaged by injuries this season, Brett Favre might consider returning should the team reach out to him. "It would be hard to pass up, I guess," he told the Biloxi (Miss.) Sun Herald. "But three months from now, say that presents itself, I may say, you know what, I'm so glad I made that decision. I'm feel very comfortable in what I'm doing and my decision.    "Yeah, I can probably be up there doing that and playing, but again, I don't know. It's only speculating. I think the world of that team. I had a lot of fun, not only this year, but over my career." http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8006630/Favre:-If-Pack-needed-me,-'it-would-be-tempting'

I am so tired of the off season will he/won't he crap.  I like him, don't get me wrong, but aren't we beyond it?  Retire and go fishing.

Myself, I'm thrilled to see JJ go.

He had good games ... about every fifth game ... but generally left a lot of yardage on the field. Nobody could get ten yards out of a hole that should have given twenty ... quite like JJ. He's far below average catching the ball, and accidentally blocked once in his career, when he tripped over Tony Romo's foot and landed in front of an opposing player. Dallas papers talk a bit about him being annoying in the clubhouse ... blaming coaches for his lack of success.

JJ is a bust, even with what Dallas was paying him. What Seattle is paying him is a joke. My bet is that he starts out strong and has a few good games, then goes back to being that guy that every Cowboy fan in the world, other than Level, remembers.

It was Super Saturday for Eli Manning as he picked up the biggest ring of his life, tying the knot with college sweetheart Abby McGrew at an intimate Mexican seaside wedding last night.
About 40 of the superstar gridder's closest family and friends huddled at a chapel at the One & Only Palmilla resort for the sunset nuptials under heavy security.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) - Thomas Dimitroff faces a crucial decision Saturday with the Atlanta Falcons holding the third pick in the NFL draft. Does Dimitroff, in his first year as general manager, select Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan to further distance the Falcons from the Michael Vick era?    Would defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey of Louisiana State be the wise choice, especially since the Falcons could take a quarterback with one of their three second-round picks?

He was brutalized as a rookie quarterback, throwing 18 interceptions and losing all 11 of his starts. But compared to other players chosen with the draft's first overall pick, Troy Aikman considers himself lucky.    Aikman survived that 1989 season with the Dallas Cowboys en route to forging a Hall of Fame career and winning three championships.    Most of the other players subsequently selected at No. 1 haven't enjoyed such good fortune.

As the NFL draft approaches, story lines -- some new, others old -- have emerged to pique interest.

For the first time since 2003, a trade involving a top-seven pick could happen. Meanwhile, Radio City Music Hall, home of the two-day event that starts Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, could experience great drama if Darren McFadden slips out of the top five.

Simply put, this draft is fascinating. Miami Dolphins executive Bill Parcells has everyone guessing regarding his intentions for the No. 1 pick. The Falcons, loaded with four of the top 48 picks, hope to be the draft's big winners. But events over the past week have intensified the intrigue swirling around the draft.

Here are the top-five story lines:

ATLANTA — Herschel Walker emerged from a back room Friday at the University of Georgia bookstore, and the crowd that had gathered for his book signing erupted in cheers. It was as if Walker, a Heisman Trophy winner and an all-American running back, had never left campus 26 years ago.

The line was cut off at 250 people because Walker was supposed to sign copies of his book “Breaking Free” from 12:30 until 2 p.m. He stayed until 3.

Seven hours later, at the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, the reception was more modest. There were just 51 people in line when Walker arrived, and he was done in an hour.

The contrasting responses to his book could reflect the mixed reaction to Walker’s revelation that he has been found to have dissociative identity disorder and that because of the condition, Walker said, he has 12 personalities, or what he called alters.

DAVIE, Fla. - There was a noticeable absence Tuesday at Jake Long's introductory news conference at Miami Dolphins headquarters.
But choosing the University of Michigan left tackle with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft says plenty about how Bill Parcells is rebuilding the franchise.

General manager Jeff Ireland and head coach Tony Sparano — who were there to announce Long had signed a contract four days before the draft — both report to Parcells in his role as Miami's executive vice president of football operations. That has led to widespread speculation about how Parcells' previous personnel history would influence the trio's first Dolphins draft.

Are you taking Pacman?  Is that a done deal yet?

All anyone can think about here The Pens!   (I couldn't care less about hockey, but evidently it's a huge thing)

Hey Katy :)

Evidently, we ARE getting Jailbird.  But Jones will can him ASAP if he gets screwy, or so I'm hearing.

Are you telling me you don't have a Jaromir Jagr poster on the wall in your home?
