Supposedly, that Stanbeck guy is as good an athlete as a younger TO, and has a serious work ethic.

If I was drafting for the Cowboys, I would use both first round picks on corners. Sixty percent of opponent's offense, centered around picking on Reeves, and if the team could get a starting right corner, the sticky covering, physical Henry would be a killer nickel back.

Receiver ... I wouldn't draft one. It seems like the easiest position to get in free agency, and you would think that when Glenn and TO retire, you could use their money to go after a good receiver or two.

I miss football season.

What if Dallas signs Randy Moss??

Naw.....

On our two first-round picks: I will shit a gold brick if Jerry schleps them off to Miami for the first pick. Keep them, and use them. Oy......

What about McFadden's running mate, Felix Jones? He's pretty explosive.

I say no to any back or receiver, unless you are handed a sure thing.

To me, if you want to look at the Patriots and wonder why they have so much talent, its because they don't waste picks on positions they can fill via free agency. Thats why Carpenter made so little sense. Every year there is a solid veteran linebacker looking to play for a winner. Every year there is a receiver or two looking for the same thing. There are always serviceable running backs out there.

The things that are hard to get in free agency are corners and offensive linemen. You have to break the bank to get a good one in free agency. If you are a really good team like the Cowboys, this is where your picks need to be used, because these are holes you can't fill any other way.

As much as I dislike you I still find myself agreeing with you far to often.......

I just think Felix Jones might be there in the 3rd. But FA is deep at RB this year.

I agree with the CB picks though, one right there for sure and two if its a suitable best player available, otherwise I agree absolutely about O line.

I think having Camp back and the other fellow coaching the secondary is gonna help.

But levels on track, we need a field stretcher, I don't have a great deal of confidence that Glenn will stay healthy. It would be great if he does though, we have very limited WR concerns if he could.

God you're a pain in the ass.............Are you sure you're a girl?

I'll be requiring some solid proof as to your sexual gender.

Good moves: Buffalo getting Marcus Stroud for 3rd and 5th round picks, Cleveland hanging on to Derek Anderson, New Orleans picking up Jonathan Vilma.

Bad moves: 49ers waaaaay over-paying Justin Smith, NE not putting the franchise tag on Randy Moss, the Raiders paying Tommy Kelly like a Pro Bowler....

They have a tough NFC conference on their schedule.

I just read in another thread that Alan Faneca is going to the Jets in a record deal, he's getting what he wants and I wish him well, hate to see him leave the Steelers, but it was obvious that it was going to happen at the beginning of the season, the only question was where he'd be going.

Roethlisberger gets more than $36 million in guarantees in new deal, most recent member of the 100 million dollar plus club.

Wow the Steelers shell it out big time. Unusual for them. Ka-CHING

The Steelers also added Mewelde Moore, former Vikings running back. he has a 4.9yd per carry career average and is a good pass receiver out of the backfield as well as being an experienced return man.

hehe, thanks for remember not to call me Surely!

I like Brett, he is precious, but it gets a bit tiring every year, post-season, the will he or won't he?

Anyway, this news will make domiguy cry!
