The Vikings mean business in 2007. But few knew they would take it this far. The team has informed wide receiver Troy Williamson that he will be docked one game's pay for missing three practices as well as last Sunday's game against San Diego in order to attend his grandmother's funeral. Williamson stands to lose $25,588.24 of his $435,000 base salary, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported. "It's really kind of out of my realm," coach Brad Childress said, according to the Star-Tribune. "It's a business principle, organizationally. If you don't show up, how does that work? We talked about that today." Williamson, who returned to the team Wednesday, said he did not regret his decision to spend the time with his family. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7426438?MSNHPHCP>1=10637 CLEVELAND (AP) - Browns guard Seth McKinney will not play against Pittsburgh and guard Eric Steinbach was listed as questionable Friday, the first shake-up on a line that has led the way for Cleveland's surprising turnaround on offense. Ryan Tucker, who hasn't played guard since the late '90s with the Rams, most likely will start in McKinney's place Sunday. Lennie Friedman would start if Steinbach is unavailable, and both Isaac Sowells and Nat Dorsey could see playing time. McKinney did not practice all week because of a shoulder injury from last Sunday's win over Seattle. Steinbach strained his back during practice Wednesday, missed practice Thursday and is day-to-day. The guards signed as free agents in the offseason and have helped stabilize the offensive line after years of injuries and lineup changes. The Browns used the same five starters in their first eight games. Derek Anderson has been sacked just seven times over the last seven games while throwing 16 touchdowns. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7383614 EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress did not practice Friday and was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Burress has not taken part in practice for most of the season while he contends with a nagging right ankle injury he sustained in training camp. He made a rare appearance on Wednesday but did not practice on Thursday. "After any time he works he might be sore, but I don't think it will be an issue," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Friday. Despite the injury, Burress leads the Giants with 37 receptions and eight touchdowns this season. The Giants announced Friday that they had extended fullback Madison Hedgecock's contract through the 2012 season. In eight games this season, the third-year pro has five catches for 38 yards. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7420132
