Dear OhReallyNow, Ladies and Gentlemen;
I do agree, that there are those slaves/submissive types who are zero pain tolerant individuals. I wanted to also add, for those older submissives/slaves who have heart defibulators or pace makers, impact is extremely dangerous, especially on the chest and or back.
That said, flogging, caning and such does not have to hurt. I have given classes, presentations and demonstrations that prove such. If you can twiddle a pencil between the fingers and bounce off the desk, it is as much as I need to light up nerve bundles. Some areas can give silient orgasms or causes sensations in the groin.
Most 'pleasing' slaves/submissives rather be caned or whipped until they're black and blue, rather than disappointing their owner/dominant. Slaves and submissives can punish themself more than dominants would dare do to their slaves/submissive. From 'the look' or words and or tone of disappointment can crush a slave. So, that needs to be mentioned.
Now, as for SAM like behavior, I could tolerate it if it was a scene only. But, only in a scene or roleplay--not as a daily personality traite.
It would be to the advantage of the dominants, to give their slave or submissive a way to feed or maintain their spirits, without having to act out or misbehave. Most of my slaves know that presenting a toy/tool/equipment to me is my que to take the time to play, to maintain, to reaffirm/confirm their submission and/or reestablish their status as slave/submissive. It may also be a time for catharsis.
No words are needed. Their eyes, their posture in presentment will tell me volumes. I will answer my slaves plea for my time. Why? Because I love them so very, very much and they do matter to me.
