ORIGINAL: Owner59 http://p.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/feb/18/joe-plumber-lands-union-job-report-says/ The cons were sooooo sure they had a live one, a winner with Joe the plunger..... Clueless much? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_the_Plumber quote:
When I saw the so called "heroic smack-down" of the President by Joe(not his real name) the plumber,I was impressed(for the 1st time w/ Obama) with the way the president handled Joe. Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher. Who knew that anyone using their middle name instead of their first name was a fraud?!? quote:
With respect and close attention to "joe`s" comments and questions, the President responded with reasonanble thoughts and with what he`d do as POTUS. It was billed by the right as a defeat for Obama when actually it was quite the opposite. A defeat for Obama? The "reasonable" response (distributing wealth is good for everyone) was not billed as a defeat for Obama, but as a damn good reason he shouldn't be voted in as President. quote:
Upon subsequent viewings, one could tell that joe was coached and had a Palin-level understanding of capitalism. Proof? quote:
Then of coarse we found out he was a huge fraud, with zero business skill, who owed taxes and wasn`t even a plumber. Proof of zero business skill? The tax issue:quote:
ABC News reported on October 16, 2008, that there was a judgment lien against Wurzelbacher for non-payment of $1,182 in owed Ohio state income taxes dating to January 2007, but "no action has been taken against him outside of filing the lien." Barb Losie, deputy clerk of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, said that "there is a 99 percent chance [Wurzelbacher] doesn't know about the lien, unless he did a credit report or was ready to pay his taxes."[68] While on Hannity & Colmes, Wurzelbacher stated that he was unaware of the tax lien prior to it being reported in the press.[69] The taxes were paid on November 6.[70] Not that that matters, apparently. Not a plumber? quote:
"Mr. Joseph [business manager of the local union] said Mr. Wurzelbacher could only legally work in the townships, but not in any municipality in Lucas County or elsewhere in the country." Looks like he was quite able to work as a plumber outside municipalities, and was employed as a plumber, so... quote:
Which of course was accompanied by the obligatory pantie-bunching and whining that "joe" was victimized by the MSM cuz we found that stuff out..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controversial_Ohio_database_searches_of_Joe_Wurzelbacher The victimization wasn't that the info was found out, but how it was obtained. quote:
News flash...joe`s got a real job... So, any job isn't a real job unless it's a non-Union job? Better tell your elected representatives they aren't working a real job then. http://www.toledoblade.com/local/2014/02/17/Joe-the-Plumber-Wurzelbacher-hired-by-Chrysler-Corporation.html To work at Chrysler, Union membership is mandatory. There is no option. Toledo is also a deeply Union town. Surprise, surprise. He got a job at a Union shop that required he join a Union, and, lo and behold, he joined the Union. What isn't determined, though, is if Ohio was a Right to Work state, would he have joined the Union or worked there outside the Union?
