While is there no liberal talk radio? There are at least five conservative talk radio shows available over the air every day in the radio market I live in. Why does the liberal message fail to attract listeners?

I voted for Obama both times, and yes, I have not been happy with a lot of what has occurred under his command. However, what Obama has or has not done in no way effects what I thought of Bush. Bush was an ass, no ifs, ands or butts.

Also, even though I am definitely not 100% happy with Obama and even if I had known then (at voting time) what I know now, I still would have voted for him over the ignorant clown acts that the GOP had to offer. (And by the way, Obama wasn't my first choice...he was simply the lesser of the two evils that were offered.)

We're really grasping at straws when you show that Bush's numbers are 'better'. They're still much worse numbers than Jimmy Carter.

Looking at the breakdown, most non republicans still despise the putz but the republicans are worshipping him with an 80+% rating which is seriously hilarious considering the amount of time the republicans around here have spent distancing themselves from him and claiming he wasn't a "twue conservative."

....I also wonder how many of those polled were in the 18 to 24 year old range and not even able to vote for him? Not to mention largely unaware of his lies and deceptions while in office.

Bush is benefitting from a common trend, to look more favorably on former Presidents than current ones. Bush's numbers are rising because folks, including me, are grateful he's had the decency to stay largely out of view. The idea that this phenomenon translates to approval of the Bush presidency is wishful thinking--at best.

Even Nixon, let us remember, benefitted from the softening of views after he left the White House. Indeed, as one wag put it well, his career was marred only by his time in public office.
