After awhile, we even forgave Nixon! Perhaps the American public is just happy he is an EX-President?

That would be my take on this latest Gallup endeavor to make something statistically meaningless into something of political 'substance.'

Easy enough to do when the audience are politicos.

They are trying to tell us that 49% favorable to 46% unfavorable constitutes a whomping vindication, yay, even overwhelming approval for two wars seriously disturbing 'national security' in a number of countries, along with 'supply-side redux' even after that fairy tale proved to be such a disaster under Reagan.

Yes, we are glad Bush II is gone, and ever more grateful of the two term limit more especially when it concerns someone who never won a legitimate or otherwise honest election in the first place.

It's not all bad:

The stock market has boomed.

The housing market is recovering.

Unemployment is down.

No new wars have been started.

He hasn't taken away anyone's guns.

Well the stock market always has us, you know...the lemmings bribed with a tax benefit, that throw $billions/week at their 401K, or Roth or Keogh, in other words...wall street.

Of all the rulers I have lived under, I think that Alexander the Great was probably the best, followed by Ghangis Khan.

Well it has been suggested that because of the Khans, it was his 'yellow hoards' that created vast Asian miscegenation. If so, then when they were riding from battle to battle and conquest to conquest, when did they have...time to fuck ?

I guess they were the the original international rape & pillagers ? .....or modern rape and pillagers.

I remember seeing Kissinger get out of a limo at Yankee Stadium,I was with my young son and explained to him who it was we were looking at...I did it with some sort of gravitas or something(the Sec of State and all that)
Later during the game I recalled what a criminal scumbag he was...I found a way to impart that fact to my son too....lol

Look, I have a workable plan to create an economic boom, better health care, political reform AND it will just take one thing....

Putting me in charge with Tazzy, the heretic and lucylastic and VAA as my advisory council.

After that, I would make cuts to Defense spending to fund a complete modernazation of the nation's infrastructure, bring all our troops home from the middle east and Afghanistan and put them to work patrolling the border with Mexico.

I would also authorize a day where all chocolate is free to women.

I would make the national religion the worship of Olivia Wilde.

I would make it a crime for the Sci Fi series Firefly to ever not be in production.

I would outlaw reality tv and replace it with actual entertainment.

I would put the most vocal collarme forum users representing both political philosophies in charge of various government agencies.

And I would pass a Federal law making clothing optional in ever state in the Union.
