I have a butterfly tattoo on my right shoulder/back. I has 6 different colors, and it measures approximately 4x3. I am also fair skinned. Getting the tattoo did not hurt...there were a few initial pricks that caught my attention, but after that I was good. It did take several hours to complete. I am not good at sitting still, so that was the hard part. I took a couple of friends along with me, which made the time pass more readily. I bought some antibacterial soap, and took care of my tat, as my designer had suggested. Don't use neosporin too long, and your tat will stay inflammed. I think I used it a day or two, and that was it. It was painful to sleep on the tat for a couple of days, and I wore a strapless bra, otherwise there were no major issues. I had no problems healing, and three years later it still looks great! I am actually thinking about a second one! Enjoy!
