No court has overturned Christies veto, ergo in this case Christies decision is the law.

Something else that youre overlooking, as you shit and puke all over the thread... though to you it might seem like a fine technical point. If Christie signs it or vetoes it, it is the law

"Civics 101" [;)][:D]

Exactly, Farglebargle needs a Civics 101 class. The supreme court or any court has never over turned anything the legislative and executive branches passed. That would be Un-American

A gang of car thieves may be "job creators" as well, would you and farglebargle be welcoming them as your neighbors?

In other words, you are both being ridiculous.

Does it matter what business they are in? The Rich are the Job Creators, they are doing a show in New Jersey they have to hire people to work on that show. Also cast and crew spend money at bars, nightclubs, tanning salons, and etc. All that money trickles down to the rest of New Jersey's economy which can be taxed and collected. The Tax Cuts are needed because they are creating jobs via Trickle Down Economics.

Im having trouble feeling any sympathy. Most states cant make their budgets. And you are complaining because a Governor refused a tax cut?

farglebargle -> RE: Gov Chris Christie hates Jobs Creators (9/29/2011 4:53:09 PM)

The Rich aren't "Job Creators"

EMPLOYERS are "Job Creators"

Have you not been keeping up with republican talking points? Job Creators are the Rich, like The Situation from Jersey Shore, the company that produces the tv show MTV and their Corporation Viacom. Instead you equated the Rich to a Gang of Car thieves now lumping in Criminals into the category of job creators.

In refuting my argument your consider the Job Creators to also be a gang of car thieves, denied talking or acknowledging trickle down economics aka Reaganomics, and supported Governor Chris Christie's tax increase on the Rich aka the "Job Creators". What type of Conservative are you?

Yes Governor Chris Christie (R) has decided to veto a tax cut for a specific Job Creator in New Jersey. Doing exactly what Obama is doing to all corporations with his jobs plan, which hurt the Job Creators of America.

tazzygirl -> RE: Gov Chris Christie hates Jobs Creators (9/29/2011 5:07:34 PM)

Dont look to me to back your ideas on this. Personally, I believe we need to trash the whole tax system, put in a flat tax, and let the chips fall where they may.

mstrj69 -> RE: Gov Chris Christie hates Jobs Creators (9/29/2011 5:41:41 PM)

If youy read the article carefully, you would have seen that the production company said they spent 2.1 million on the show. It did not say they proved they spent 2.1 million on the show or where the money was spent. Was half the 2.1 million spent on producers salaries where they might spend one day a month in New Jersey and not even spend the night at that and the rest of the month they are in New York or some other state? Not sure that if I was governor I would even bother to keep that agency around.

I just spoke with a tax attorney and he says it's technically a cut for the classless

The whiney chick with the fat tits should have blown the governor. I am sure with proper negotiations, the tax payers would have been spared. Any guy who will fly to a little league game on the states tab when the world is talking about his bid for the presidency, is smart enough to hold out for the blowjob before giving away the farm.

Does it really matter where the money was spent? The Rich are the job creators and unless they get their tax cuts they cant create jobs. As proof of this, the Jersey Shore has moved the show to Italy instead of New Jersey which proved that if they dont get their tax cuts they will take their money else where.

Most of the fair tax concepts I've studied over the years have some pretty flawed ideas and supporting material to back them up. Herman Cain a few months ago tries to use the idea of a 'fair tax'. He quoted a mere 23% as the amount Americans would pay for 2011 federal budget. Unfortunately, all the conversatives didnt pick up the facts (which were listed right on his own site) that the 23% number was based on 2007 figures, NOT, 2011. In fact three well known economic think tanks concluded that for the 2011 numbers to be 'correct' under a 'fair tax' system, the amount most Americans would pay is around 43-49%. I gave a full accounting of the information and numbers on the 'Herman Cain' thread.

The fair tax (in any of the 72 forms I've seen in the past decade) all seem on paper to be 'good ideas'. Unfortunately, if you start doing the number crunching, based solely on the authors of those fair tax bills, one quickly finds it isn't really that fair. The rich come out on top in nearly every one of the 72 I've read. The few that didnt, their gain was minor, but still could be considered significant given the right circumstances. When the rich (and/or the real representatives of the rich.....the GOP) are pushing for a change in the tax law, shouldn't it be a curious question of "Why do they REALLY want to change the tax laws'?

tazzygirl -> RE: Gov Chris Christie hates Jobs Creators (10/1/2011 3:10:02 AM)

Umm.. I said flat tax, not fair tax. And im not speaking of the progressive bs in either of them.

Flat... you pay x% period... no deductions... no exceptions... period.

Lets say its 10%

Capital gains? 10%
Interest Income? 10%
Paycheck? 10%
Make 100,000 a year and have 9 kids? That was your choice... 10%

Well... that's not entirely true... a friend of mine in RI once decided to go complain to a member of the Rockefeller family about his having a wetlands that's been untouched since before man settled in the area. Well, this rich guy was apparently hard of hearing and they both stated to yell at each other. And he must've really liked my friend cause Jim got a job from him (well more of a referral) making license plates for the state.Wasn't much of a job though, cause it only lasted 3 months. And get this, when they fired him, they cited 'good behavior'. ...WTF?

farglebargle -> RE: Gov Chris Christie hates Jobs Creators (10/1/2011 6:19:54 PM)

Once again, you are completely incorrect. You should be used to the feeling of fail, though, given your long experience...

Dismissing your nitwittery, I will offer that I don't consider Wal-Mart, who pays their store management so poorly that WE need to give their kids food stamps so they can eat decently, to be an 'employer'.

They're a parasite.
