There are two sides to every story.  I hate to blame the victim, but we all knew he was racist, and she knew exactly what she was getting.  Makes it hard to have a ton of sympathy toward her, plus the release those tapes shows that she has no class and is not protective of her child.

Um, you're welcome, hope it makes up for the lack of shoulders.

I just want to say I've been abused and my son has been by his ex wife so do not assume it all his fault until you know all the details. People now days are crazy all over. I know bi-poler people they are find as long as they are on their meds. The only ones that know the 100% truth is him and her. It will all come out in the wash sooner or later. Personally everyones main concern should be the kid. The media is going to milk this for all it's worth weather it's true or not.

Like everyone else I'm on the outside looking in and don't claim to know, but it certainly appears that he's around the bend and spinning out of control, and possibly there already - just hasn't completely snapped yet. Those Hollywood people - they have talent, money, privelege, sometimes they have looks, and it all does many of them in. The privelege part, I think, is what tips the scales, too much of it over time, too many people stroking you and using you, and if you don't have the character to handle it all that stuff can't and won't make you happy.

My prediction : in the near future he'll go into rehab. He knows his image is damaged almost beyond repair, and he'll have to humble himself and that's where to begin. He'll come out and make a big deal of having faced hell and coming out the other side, find someone to hire him and behave impeccably. And he;ll talk about it, ofetn and loudly, reminding everyone how humbled he is. Or, less cynically, maybe he'll reach his personal rock bottom and want to save himself, for himself and those he loves and he'll go into rehab. Whatever his motive for seeking recovery and doing the amends thing, actually living a spiritual life is a whole lot different from talking about it. I do predict that rehab is in his near future, though......

As for her - again, I don't know if she's a golddigger or someone who got into a real bad and dysfunctional relationship and is scared shitless of him and knows him well enough to be scared shitless of him. If it's the latter, why shouldn't she tape him if he's acting like a lunatic? If someone you cared about was in that position wouldn't you encourage her to use every resource, every weapon she can to fight back? And it may not be her who released the tapes - if there's a buck to be made from stuff like that it'll get out somehow. He has himself to blame for his actions, not the person who taped him in the midst of his actions.....

Gibson doesn't need someone to hire him. He never has to work as an actor again, unless he wants to, and he can produce/direct movies internationally just as easily as he can in Hollywood. Maybe he'll do a sequel to The Passion.

That would be awesome. I didn't see Passion but I'd totally go see Jesus: Part II.

And what would the sequel be?  The Resurrection?  or the Second Coming?

Tape him maybe for the police, for her lawyer, but what I think everyone questions is she played it for the public to hear.  It was calculated.  I wonder if her side of the conversation would have been as calm if she also didn't know it was being recorded.  I'm not condoning what he did, but when someone knows just the right buttons to push...then records it and puts it out to the public its just very unfair.

I'd think it might be "The Newer Testament"

How about a "life of Paul?" Or something from Acts or the Apocrypha? Plenty of mayhem and martyrdom among the disciples. I would probably set the dvr for a Mel Gibson movie about Peter.

What about "Jesus Vs. Mohammed"?

You could have alternate endings...... take about your world wide draw!

I am BRILLANT! I need to take a meeting with Mel.

Pics?  How much proof do you need?  the fact that you think Mad Max is cool is irrelevant to his behavior, which WAS taped, when he was apprehended by the police.

None so blind as those who will not see.
