Honestly I die a little inside when I see a couple walking and the man has his woman's bag for her. I think it is so freaking sweet I want to lay down and die a little. I love it. I think it is SUPER manly. He is saying "Oh world, never you mind how this looks, I am carrying my babe's bag because she needs me to and I dont give a hoot what yalls think about it."

I was standing outsdie work this past week and saw just such a sight. I loved it and thought the man was a freaking knight!

I think it gets more complicated if the chick is not in the line of vision though.

I think any man who doesnt give a hoot about looking manly can be super manly. Then again I have no problem at all with a man in flip flops.

This. It's also true in the negative: there's nothing less manly than a man behaving like a blithering Victorian harpy post mouse-sighting because he thinks the pink sparkly girly handbag cooties might get him.

Once you've said 'will this bag make me look girly?' you've moved into 'does this dress make me look fat?' territory. You've lost the battle before you've even laid a finger on the pink sparkles...
