so it is my birthday for 11 more minutes, and Jeffff came to see me (best birthday present ever) and I got quite intoxicated at dinner and demanded we go to the liquor store and I get more wine....in the middle of traversing the liquor store/grocery store, I decided my purse was too heavy to carry (yes I am not sober) and Jeffff carried my purse through the store "in a manly and dominant fashion" (according to him). I ask you all, is there a way to carry a purse in a dominant fashion?

Yup, Jefff just did it. You might remember in the morning! If not, I am sure the store has video! (Just a thought you know!)

(His being my mentor doesn't count on this one!)

Nope but being travel resticted he did in fact buy condoms and KY at Walgreen's earlier....the Walgreen's chick loved him!

(ok I'm off to pay for these posts in a totally consentual fashion of course....)

Never mind if he carried it in a manly manner - did the purse match the mandals?

There is a manly dominant way to carry a handbag. You hold it at least 6" away from your body, arm rigid, and occasionally glance at it like it's some bizarre and disgusting foreign object and you have no idea how it got in your hand.

Happy birthday.

No, no  Elizabella - the true manly way to carry a feminine article is to do it with "an air", as if you are sooooooo masculine that a mere bag couldn't compromise your  maleness.
And you know, anteater goes with everything.  After all, when you eat ants, its hard to deny the frank sexuality of that tongue.   Long and flexible and able to get into the smallest of crevices with ease............................ phew, i think i need to go back to bed*fans face*
Now, the drunk birthday sub?  nope, not masculine at all.   Happy belated birthday   --  and many more!

Men here carry the luggage (aka purses) for their women all the time.

But, hey, happy birthday!

Yes. Place said bag (do NOT call it a "purse" while the man is touching it) up on your shoulder, like you were carrying a heavy log; this also allows flexing of the bicep and deltoid muscles.

This is the wrong way to do it:

If Tinkywinky were Amish, he'd be shunned for sure.

Happy birthday, laurell *smooch*

No. Domly/manly and purse are mutually exclusive.

No, no, don't you understand? When Jeffff carries it, it is not longer a purse it is a manly man bag!

Absolutely not! There is no possible way to carry a purse in a manly fashion. I just hope it matched his mandals nicely.

And happy birthday, laurell!

So, basically, you can masculinise anything by changing the first letter to "m"?    Hmm, that brings some things to mind -

                manties?
                mirdles
                morsets
                mussys?

There is no way to manify a pink purse though. Or one with rhinestones. It has to be unadorned black.

Happy birthday oh drunken one.
