Status: offline 		well sasha is laying on mommy and daddy's bednest just got walked over by mystic and well blondie is being good and sleeping or relaxing by my chair but boy when daddy and i got home we found that mystic was having a hell of a time dodging blondie while we were gone. both blinds in the kitchen are missing like 2 rows of blind in one piece because they broke them by mystic dodging and blondie being persistant about chasing and playing is all we can think of.

Status: offline 		Molly went back to Oregon to her mommy according to Lizard, so all we got left is Binx.  I assume that she is doing her regular things, sleeping behind the computer desk, wondering when I will come back so she can snuggle up to me when I am on the computer...

Status: offline 		LD4, I found out pretty much the same way that the dog will always try to follow the cat....doesn't matter if she will fit......the chase is afoot, and no obstacles are too big or too small.

If you want to preserve what blinds you have, you'd do well to leave them up about 6 or 7 inches to give the kitteh room to hide, and the goggie room to stick her head in behind her.

Trust me, I've had dogs and their kittehs for many years....you pretty much have to kidproof the place, or there's no telling what disaster you'll find.  I came home one day, and if you didnt' know better, you'd swear I had teenagers who threw a wild party......comforter from the waterbed dragged down the hall, a pillow from the same bed in the bathroom, couch cushions everywhere, throw pillows in the kitchen.....and the dog and cat met me at the dorr pointing to the other going "HE DID IT!!!!!"  Even now with 4 kittehs, I have to watch what is where to avoid any
cat-tastrophies.  (yeah, bad one, but I couldn't pass it up!)

Sorry, but by claiming said 5th Amendment rights, you just proved that you ARE a sub!!!!!  There are no 2 legged doms in a house that is occupied by a kitteh......I know this from personal experience......

Status: offline 		yea they have gotten to the point that it is becomming a game and well i think they made their hole that they needed in the kitchen blinds so im just gonna break off the thingies and leave it at that LOL.

right now mystic is hiding behind me up on my chair while blondie is up to no good full of puppy energy from a good nights sleep go figure.

Maggie is using my lap as a bed. I am now effectively pinned to the sofa. Could one of you check in and make sure I'm hydrated and fed, this could be a while.

You're lucky they only made a hole. Maggie decimated my bedroom blinds. They look like the aftermath of a firebomb and parts of them are missing altogether.

Status: offline 		Speaking of blinds, Misty completely ruined my vertical mini blinds. To get to the window ledge, she would not go around the blinds, but would wedge herself in the middle of them between the slats (she's a small cat and would fit). Then, when she saw a kitty outside in "her" yard, she would shreik and flail about while in the blinds, bending them and sending them into disarray. For a while I would put them back in place. but eventually the blinds just gave out and some of the slats broke. I then had vertical blinds installed. I've had them four 1/2 years and they are working out very well. She can do her shrieking and flailing number to her heart's content at the window when she sees other cats outside and it doesn't hurt the blinds.

Status: offline 		I think in the end I'll just replace the shredded blinds with the kind that are a sheet of whatever material such blinds are made of. No more shredded blinds and they'll be easier to keep clean. Plus one yank it's up/down, no strings - which Maggie chewed to the point where I had to tie the blinds in place because there wasn't enough left to pull.

LOL well thats all it is thus far but now mystic is eating and blondie is working on crashing from her walk so woot, but now i have to study.
