Actually, I am able to tell what sex they are, I'm pretty sure I have 3 little boys. I wish everyone who wanted to give a home to them lived closer too, because they are just the sweetest things! I went down earlier, and all three of them had moved up to the porch because it had really rained earlier, and it kept them dry. They were all rambunctious....especially the little gray guy.....he was just everywhere! Hopping around like a little frog....stalking his brothers, and pouncing when they weren't looking. The runt is still a little shy, he's one of the black striped ones, but he doesn't run away as much from me as he did. And we're all done with the hissing and spitting. Mama was just sitting on the sidewalk, watching over them, not having fits because I was holding her beebees. I don't want to traumatize her by removing the kittens too early, so I'm really just watching her at this point. She leaves them alone more during the day when they sleep, but she's always someplace close just in case. I did see the gray one going potty, so they understand the concept of dirt, so the litter box should be no problem. I think they are still too young to start them on dry food, but as soon as all 3 start eating the wet stuff, I'll know it's time. They are just too cyooooooot!!!! Not sure what kind of coats they'll have. Dad is short haired, and Mama has a bit longer but thinner coat. Time will tell. My neighbor wants to take at least one, but she's out of work, and doesn't know if she can afford two...or even one. I told her I'd help out with the cat food, and we both have used the pet food bank here. Either way, I'd end up feeding them, house cat or feral. If I can place them someplace in a family, that'd be great. I know Sugar would love a buddy or two!
