Booga has been normal all day until someone sent me a very touching email, which started the tears to flowing. He then came over & laid down under the desk, touching my feet to comfort me. Pookie couldn't care less.

Angel's outdoors, carousing around at night when Ms. Overzealous Busybody can't see her outside and report her to Animal Control. I don't particularly like her being out at night, but this solution actually does seem to be working well, as Angel comes inside and sleeps during the at-risk hours.

While Misty likes Angel, she seems to be glad she's outside and she can have alone-time with Mom.

I'm in kind of a "fuckit" mood tonight. Da Boyz are supposed to be on a restricted diet & they came with one of those automatic food dispenser things. Tonight I got tired of all the whining & drama about them being convinced they would starve to death, so I filled their dish up with food. Besides they can both get food out of it when they want it anyway. Booga doesn't like it when there is food left in the dish; he likes to act like he's burying it by scratching on the floor.

Tonight there was a plastic grocery bag in the vicinity so he pulled it over near the dish & managed to cover the dish with it. So their food is safe from all the predators in the apartment now. *whew!!*

Aww happy birthday!

My Wetpaw just discovered his sexuality with a pillow.

It was one of those things you couldn't look away from, and I wasn't sure if I should stop or not...
His brother Miko was near the pillow, and Wetpaw kept biting his neck.

de-wormed and d-flead and she is ready for a nap upside down under the white end table in the upstairs bedroom.

Glad I got her done today.

Miss S thoroughly inspected the contents of a plastic shopping bag that was under the coffee table. She's now keeping a close eye on the stink bug that wandered into the house.

When I got up this morning, Pookie was frantic because the food was covered by the plastic bag, so I pulled it off for him. After Booga ate, he pulled the bag back over the food & wandered off. This is quite an amusing game.

They snoozed the entire day, but that all changed when I walked in the door with chicken. Now they're wide awake and begging.

*gigglesnort*

I talked with my ex-husband tonight & he told me about his little 3 month old baby girl kitties. They are litter mates & one is quite a bit more dainty than the other one. Of course this is the one he likes the most. I am so happy for him that he has these girls now that he has retired. He sounds so much happier now when I talk to him. Kittehs are very good at doing that for a person.

Pookie is on his bed as usual & Booga has been wandering all around since I got home. He even lost his mind & thought that I would let him out when I took out the garbage. As much fun as I think they would both have out there with the lightnin bugs, I'm afeared to let them outside.

I was bad and had fried tonight, though that will be changing soon.

if they cant go to the bugs.. shouldnt you bring the bugs to them.. just a couple of bugs?

When Squeek was alive he loved to chase those huge flies when they got in the house. They would fly up the wall up to the ceiling and I would lift him up over my head up as high as I could. His little paws would be flaying away at the fly, it was hilarious. He trusted me not to drop him, I never did but it wasnt easy cuz he weighed 10 pounds and wriggling wildly when he was fly swatting... he had such determination!
