Mine are resting and overall ok.

Summer is genuinly over her ordeal, now I "only" need to see her at some point today eating or drinking to get my peace of mind.

She went outside earlier and soon later came back inside thankfully...so she doesn't appear to go into depressive hiding outside...I simply try to keep her life as normal as possible, which is why I don't want to lock her inside right now.

I am just relieved that all went without needed emergency intervention, meaning that mother nature did the job how it became necessary this time without human help necessary to save her life.

Urmel will get fixed on friday even when it would be more helpful to use that money in other ways right now, as I know it is incredible important right now that he stops bothering her....she truly deserves her peace from his attempts to attack her sexually.

All I want now for her is to rest in the kitten department as long as she needs to, to recover and once she is healed she can have one happy litter before getting fixed at last...if that would not be meant to be, then of course not, but seeing her yesterday and knowing how much she enjoyed to raise her first litter, I would give her the option if it is possible. But it would certainly be her final litter (so not two litters for her as it was originally planned) as it is ok to let her retire from getting pregnant then....so hopefully she will find her happy end towards the end of the year or so....we will see. For now its time for her to heal and to recover and to get spoiled rotten.

Both woke up from their naps when I took the salmon out of the oven. I offered them some tidbits, but Misty turned her nose up at hers because of the teriyaki glaze. It didn't bother Angel at all and she happily gobbled down her tidbits.

Well, what do you know. I heated up the left-over teriyaki glazed salmon tonight and Misty of course came over and begged. Today she actually ate several salmon tidbits, teriyaki glaze and all. Guess she had been waiting on her plain, custom-baked salmon, which never arrived, so she figured teriyaki-glazed salmon tidbits were better than no salmon at all.

All mine are napping, summer next to my pillow.

Today she had an unfortunate late birth from another kitten, so she wasn't finished yesterday after all, but that was born dead by then.

Later now she finally started to get more back to her normal self so I think she is now on her road to recovery at last. I took her out from her place where she was lieing until a moment ago to have her with me in my bed with her current situation and she finally started to interact again voluntarily with headbutting my nose and finally...at last....started to eat and drink again

Thank goodness.

Seeing her now compared to before where she obviously still was carrying one leaves me reasonable confident now that her ordeal is over now at last.

Urmel gave summer nice TLC a moment ago, which she truly deserved.

Good night from here

Here furry life is good

All are outside, enjoying to roll around in the sunshine and summer came back inside by now, had a well sized portion of food and now snuggled up inside. Therefore Drama is over now in my furry world and fingers crossed it will only go upwards now in their world

I finally fall asleep....have been up for like 18 hours, can't sleep, tried everything......and KB decides he wants to, no NEEDS to, talk to me!  I love him to death, but sometimes, I'd like to string him up by his furry little tail!

Urmel demonstrated today what a big boy he is

I was about to go to the stores and chose to use my back door...because of that urmel, pepper and curry followed me. I had seen that a tabby and white cat was going around the corner in the other part of the garden but wasnt sure if this was my spicy or if this was a neighbour cat which recently started to cause for drama here...(1-2 days ago i intervened as they were incredibly loud screaming at each other). So I went outside, and this was the cat which isnt mine about to attack spicy which was resting there between higher grass...so causing drama for drama but not for real reason...gosh when Urmel has seen that one he started to chase him it was incredible...He certainly isn't a lil boy anymore with his 9 months, he can speak up for himself

So Urmel protected spicy from an attack, not that spicy would have been bothered about that, though

It was hillarious how Urmel chased that other cat...am sure that cat will be delighted once we moved away here

At present my 2 big boys are outside, ladies and Urmel are inside...Urmel wasnt pleased when I dragged him in at 9pm but he will get over that fact

Well Socks snuck out through an open window yesterday that didn't realize the screen was also open.

Sooo...she is out I'm sure getting banged by every male in a 2 mile radius and will come home knocked up and needing my help when the kittens are born.

Damn slut! She gets more action than I do

Boots is doing what Boots does best, sleep and eat. With a little of going out and beating up on the other cats. Right now, he is trying to rest his head on my mouse hand. Must be something subliminal.

I decided to lie down for a nap today & much to my surprise, Professor Orange jumped up on the bed with me. I gave him a bunch of scritchies & he allowed me to lie down & pull the covers up. He then proceeded to help me read my book. Then he went back down by my legs & settled in. And soon, I felt Sir Hemingway on the other side of my legs. I finished reading & turned over to nap, in my twin bed with an 18-lb cat on one side & a 20-lb one on the other. I slept wonderfully!!

Mine enjoyed the day outside in the sun...in the evening all of a sudden all were back inside...no surprise it was raining

We curently have a new kid in our block who isn't liked by any of my furrys...yesterday urmel showed him what a big boy he already was and chased him and a moment ago pepper roarred at him through the window...following which all cats came to her to have a look who is intruding there

I seriously had no idea that pepper can be so angry

We have had a glorious few days here, so windows have been wide open. The cats have been in one window or another, sniffing their little asses off and watching the birds, squirrels, dogs, people. . .life is good.

The lucky bums got their own portion of custom-prepared Yellow Fin tuna, which is being hand-fed to them, no less. Can we say spoiled? There was actually a few more ounces in the package than the recipe called for, so they were kind enough to take it off my hands.

Mine are inside...I just had a check as they were way too loud again, so i wanted to know if mine are involved or not and whilst Urmel was clinging onto the fence it weren't mine who were screaming their heads off...so I took Urmel in, went back into the lounge when the next screaming started...so I thought to better double check that really all of mine are inside and whilst curry was inside (wasn't sure about him) pepper was outside and desperate to be let in.

So now they can scream as much as they want outside...as I know they aren't mine

My big boyz have been very active tonight. They've been running all over the apt, chasing each other, & just generally trying to get into mischief & get my attention. They're too funny lumbering through the room here!!

SOMEBODY  bit a palmetto bug..  it's antennae were still waving when I got home.

since things with more than 4 legs creep me out, it took a couple of hours for me to pick it up.. and it's antennae were STILL waving *squick ick ewwwwwwwww*

lows in the 60s here tonight, so a/c off, windows open.. they both seem to be enchanted by the frogs in the retention pond next door..

ETA: better a palmetto than one of those extra-creepy mole crickets!!

Angel is thrilled that it's spring again and there are now a few small lizards in the garden. She hasn't killed any yet this year, but I'm sure that's coming any day now.

Misty almost tripped me twice when I was in the kitchen making dinner. She likes to get underfoot at the most inopportune times.

ewwwwww....palmetto bugs.....mutant roaches from HELL!  I had the one last summer, and it'd better be the LAST one!  I used a can of cat food to kill it with, and it was still squirming when I flushed it.

And Greedy, WTF is a mole cricket????  Like I need to be on the lookout for yet another creepy bug!

'Scuze me while I stop to do the heebie jeebie dance......

And Mystic, you should be thrilled beyond belief at the assistance in the kitchen!  However, it's not her fault that you can't watch where she's going and cook at the same time.  I'm sure she's thinking that you need to work on your multi-tasking skills!

And another thing...the FIRST person to actually post a pic of that cricket is a dead one!!!!  I MEAN IT!!!!

Angel is in one of her devilish moods and was chasing Misty this morning. Misty is now hiding under my long skirt because she knows she's safe there.

We had one nice day and now back to the rainy wind dreary land...

I medicated the cat and she is sleeping.  She loves to sleep.
