ORIGINAL: ShiftedJewel Fast reply Years ago I had a friend that was a police officer and a dominant male. We were talking one time and he told me how tough it was to find someone (a submissive) because of his job. I had never really thought about it, but it dawned on me that he was right, it really shouldn't matter. Yeah, cops are cops 24/7, my husband worked in the tool and die industry for decades, he's still a machinist, 24/7. Doctors are on all the time as well. People shouldn't be ostracized because of their occupation. And corruption? Hypocrisy? Been to church lately? Every industry is the same, there's good and the not so good people and some down right jerkoffs. The job has nothing to do with it, it's the people. Would I date a cop? In a heartbeat! And I've seen some that could make even me drool!! Uh huh.... put that utility belt on them and nothing else... oh hell yeah!! Ok, I feel the same way about firemen!! Jewel Nope, I haven't been to church since I was old enough to be confirmed. I flat out refused and haven't set foot in one since. And I agree that there are assholes in every profession. The only difference is that if said asshole doesn't have a badge and gun, they can't throw me in jail. Granted, they can't slam the door on you. But they can have you arrested and they can press charges. Most certainly! In most parts of the country wiitwd can be considered assault and all anyone needs to do is wake up the next morning and regret what they did the night before and report it to police. Them consenting the night before has absolutely nothing to do with it, even if they signed a little worthless piece of paper. It's assault, plain and simple. And if you pick up a flogger, whip or paddle? It's assault with a weapon. I don't care what occupation a person is in, everytime someone plays with a virtual stranger they are taking that chance and just because they can't personally slap the cuffs on you doesn't make it any less of a possibility. Ok, you may be able to beat it in court, but that is not gonna stop the degradation of law enforcement coming to your home (or whereever) and placing you in handcuffs and taking you to jail. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. And if you don't beat it in court? There you go, an assault conviction on your record! Do some reserch, it happens all the time. Don't think that just because you avoid cops that you are insulated from being arrested, ignorance is no excuse, remember? Jewel
