http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIzfXOfpFcA   I seen this before- it is interesting.

flcouple2009 -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 8:22:01 PM)

You do understand that Jesse fell off his rocker somewhere along the line, right?

K

pahunkboy -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 9:09:22 PM)

Could you elaborate?  I don't follow...

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 9:15:48 PM)

He's a lying fruitbat.

Owner59 -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 9:36:04 PM)

That`s not Jesse.

That`s Nick Nolte, doing an impression of Jesse.

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 9:44:37 PM)

I'm 3 minutes into it now. Jesus christ on a crutch, he's even crazier than he was when he was governor here, and that's saying a hell of a lot. What a complete fucking nut case.

TheHeretic -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 10:57:14 PM)

Keep in mind, this is a guy who rose to fame by getting hit on the head with folding chairs 3 or 4 times a week for how many years?

SteelofUtah -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/9/2009 11:04:19 PM)

What is Scary is that I don't think he is lying.

I think that he is making it sound worse than it is, and I think he thought he was supposed to be more important that he actually was as a govoner.

However I wonder if this is all true how long it will be before he is killed for doing this publically.

If he is really Insane, Ask yourself this. With all the names he gave do you realize that so far NO ONE had denied what he said so far.

Ask the serious questions.

This isn't just a huge joke and what he is talking about if it really did happen JUST AS HE SAID IT DID....... This is a SERIOUS ISSUE!!!

DomImus -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/10/2009 5:56:20 AM)

I think Jesse is a very intelligent guy. I'll never understand how he ended up in the pro wrestling gig although I can totally see him being elected governor. Minnesotans have shown some strange voting proclivities lately. Having said all that Jesse seems to have and has always seemed to have a rather inflated view of his own self importance and having said that I take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt.

I thought there was a new forum just for political discussions but I guess everyone did not get the memo.

Owner59 -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/10/2009 6:48:29 AM)

Who`s making this political?[;)]

And who appointed you thread nanny?[:D]

I believe him.  and yes- this is a serious matter.

The thought most people stopped taking "The Body" seriously about the midway point of his term as governor.

Everybody except Jesse, that is. He just started taking himself even more seriously.

Really, people, if Jesse Ventura tells you the sky is blue, grab a camera and run outside quick, because I guarantee you're going to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to take pictures of a fluoresecent orange sky. This is a guy who, midway through his term as governor, stopped talking to any media from the state of Minnesota because he was so pissed off about all the times they busted him for lying. For half of his term, he refused to even say "good morning" to a single reporter from the state he was governing, because they'd caught him lying so many times he couldn't handle it anymore. At best, he's insane, and at worst, he's a pathological liar.

I mean, jesus christ, just watch this video - does anyone here seriously believe the Central Intelligence Agency sent 23 CIA agents to interview him when he was elected governor? An entire busload of spies to interview one former professional wrestler? Why? That's fucking crazy. It makes no sense whatsoever. He's a lying sack of shit. There's no reason at all for anyone who knows anything about his history to believe a word he says.

MrRodgers -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/10/2009 7:38:00 PM)

It is the presumptions, prejudices and character assassinations that he is suffering that is his life insurance.

Not only is this possible, it is very probable.

Kinkroids, the CIA has been in the regime change business for some time.  Saddam Hussain, Osama Bin Laden among others like them...were/are CIA proteges' who were on their payroll.

They go everywhere and anywhere for intelligence. This is likely bureaucratic overkill but if only possibly they came from a few different areas of CIA all can cover their asses with a benign interview of Jesse who was a wild card politician...out of nowhere.

This is very believable and especially given the documented history of the CIA and also given the enabling short memory of the American public.

How?

Can someone - anyone - who believes this story please explain why it's probable that the CIA secretly places agents in senior positions in state governments without anyone knowing it? What definition of the word "probable" applies here?

Definition that applies here: probable = certain.

Fascinating.

pahunkboy -> RE: Jesse Ventura and the CIA (5/11/2009 8:55:18 AM)

Panda,  I do beleive in governed by consent and local control.

Would the establishment media treat him fairly?  I doubt it.

Would he follow the same pay offs all the others did?   Not likely.

I dont live in MN so- I cant tell if he was good for your state. He was good for other states tho.  People else where thought- "Hey we too could get an independent.  maybe we should behave."

Pennsylvania politics is about to get interesting.  Specter. He answered his phone once when I called. I liked him for a while. But a few things turned me off.   WHERE was he when Bush and Santorum wear wrecking the country?  and he did vote for the bail out.

Now he tells Pennsylvanians- hey you want me. I will be on high powered committees and that is good for PA.  Being that he voted for the bail outs.   I have 2 words for my public servant.     BLOW ME.
