ORIGINAL: LadyEllen The point is, that if this guy was at home base then he wouldnt have a leg to stand on and I'd be jumping all over him too. But he's in a warzone on active duty. This puts the whole matter into a different light. BoA are not going to go (any more) bankrupt over his missing a few car payments (assuming its more than one). The sergeant might die along with his whole platoon for the distraction of trying to sort out the problem - whether its an administrative error or whatever. Bringing it down to its basics - human life is worth far more than some f'in debt owed to a bank. And the moment we lose sight of that perspective, heaven help all of us. E Lady E., based on this thread, our sick culture deserves what it is about to get (between Feb, and 2013) The simple thought of OMG my car payment, could malfunction, so the soldier could be de activating a roadside bomb. gets a nervouse twitch over the more serious matter, a freakn money changer coporation, then kaboom, bodily injury. The peice said his hometown buddy was injured. To act like the soldiers are getting a free ride really pisses me off. this is not about bush and the lie of war, it is about the tribe minding its warrior heros. Forget the name of the bank. They all own one another. A non human entitty like a robot, computer or corporation can never have human rights. The day that it/them does, then ....fuck the grid. In the US govt assessment, in the future this type of thing will be a threat to us. A piece of junk neon, theat probaly will rust and blow the engine block before the pay off. I absolutley HATE auto deduct. It did not mention, but some banks that triggers fees. The comtempt ... spits at all 20th century American soldiers... what a crock. A stupid car junk bucket. So now we know, and on this all can agree. it is more then CEOs that sunk this sorry azz broken down, has been, produce nothing, historically/geographic ignorant, ....i would reply go to where there is a dictatorship... but that, circa 2008 would be, here.
