A journal entry on the other side. The girl was bitching that the word was consenTual, not consenSual, since it had nothing to do with being sensual, and if you didn't know the difference, not to write to her. I helpfully wrote to her, showing her the word was consent, which became consensual when used as an adjective, and she just reposted her prior journal entry, with some additional emphasis that it is consenTual. I hope she gets the level of intelligence that she is seeking in a partner. [8\|] Cali

My eyes rolled out of my head, across the floor, out the door of my job, and down the highway to hell yesterday because of a pack of stupid bitches. Short Manager clued us in that they were possible shoplifters from an incident before. Well, some cops came into the store as they usually do on the weekends (our shopping center is packed Friday/Saturday evenings due to the movie theaters, restaurants, coffee house, and other stores). They happened to zero in on the women, and followed them around. Well, Moosecrotches finest left, and the women made a bee-line to the register. One of them complained that she felt harassed and neglected and proceeded to threaten Short Manager, Register Lady and Hip Chick. SM told her to take her concerns to the officers. Stupidly, she did so. Told them she felt harassed, threatened, neglected, blah blah blah. While bitching and whining, she drops her purse, and WHADDAYA KNOW!? Around $300 in stolen merchandise from my store and 1 other just happened to fall out onto the ground...at her feet. Yes, in front of the cops. Seriously, if ya know ya stole some shit, dont go to the cops and bitch about them following ya.

Lemme get this straight. Women come into the store and are followed by cops. While being followed, they STILL manage to steal stuff. They go to cops to complain and spill the goods. OR Women shoplift and arouse suspicion. They return to the store next day WITH THE STOLEN STUFF from yesterday and attempt to steal more. Sheesh...

Its a combo of one and two. They aroused suspicion...cops came in about 20-30 minutes after them. (They had been part of a suspected theft group before, but it was like a month before I started there.) It was crazy. About an hour altogether of dealing with the crazies.

Okay, a convo I had last night with tonight's (maybe) date just made my head EXPLODE. I will not share it here, just in case, but dingaDANG, some folks have some wack notions. Well, the NOTION was not wack... it was the lack of elements of CONSENT that made it dead wrong. And made me wonder if I WANT to take on someone who has never been out and about in the scene.
