Actually the first male singer to sing about being a male submissive was Richie Valens. But back in the 1950's no record label would entertain you if you were singing about BDSM. So what he did was to sing in Spanish using code words from an obscure dialect spoken among BDSMers in Chihuahua in Northern Mexico, as we can see from his internationally acclaimed hit 'La Bamba' (The Mistress)

What? I always thought this song was about being a sailing ship captain! I mean, my spanish is a bit rusty but "marinero" means "sailor" and "capitan" means "captain"...

I didn't know there were alt meanings for these words...
