Has anyone else noticed this? I'm listening to Dave Matthews right now, and his lyrics are damned near turning me on, despite the fact that I don't swing that way. I started really listening to him and... seriously... it's some of the most seductive stuff I've heard, it's like he's begging for someone to top him. Yearning for it. ('Gravedigger', 'Sister', '42' and 'Crash' were the songs I listened to most recently.) Like I said, I'm not gay, but I believe enough in this assessment that I'd suggest some male subs maybe memorize some of his lyrics. If I'm half-wanting him after listening to the wistful yearning in his words, I'd put money down that it's like pcp-laced chocolate to some dominant women. I'm curious to see who the most submissive female singer people think is out there, but that's not the point of this... just sharing an idle thought. Rock on, y'all.

I've met him once, and certainly got the subbie vibe: polite, attentive, empathetic, responsive to my touch, intelligent and intense. Oh, and I put the 'Me' in 'Domme' so the hell with 'dom'. A homonym ain't no synonym. Ja, I kinda questioned this myself...I am glad I ain't the only one. I would call myself a dome because it is all about me, but someone might mistake me for half a sphere which could conceivably obfuscate the issue even further. 6 (half of 12)

Jewel I think would make a troublesome sub. But yeah, I buy that. Now Amy Winehouse is a slave. Too bad she's a slave to coke too. Regarding the dom bit in my sig line, not only does it save me from two letters, but from the damnable dom/domme slashy nonsense. Sure it's lazy and mildly chauvanistic; if that bugs you then consider its origins. BDSM does not have a gender-neutral noun that avoids controversy (top vs. dom, anyone?), but it started with one... The word dominant began its existence genderless. It should go back that way, the extra 'me' is a layer that adds no real value since it's always used in association with the correct pronoun anyway (she's a dom, he's a dom, it's a dome(sic)); if it looks too manly for you, then correct your thinking, not my unwillingness to type pointless letters.

in the dave matthews band storytellers he states that "crush" is about the worship of women, so yeah, I got the vibe too, but he totally does it for me, and I say that as a straight man, not sure what it is, but his voice and everything just plain does it for me
