I like to dive down to the bottom of the deep end and stay there for as long as I can.
Unfortunately I have to come up for air every now and then.

For me it has a deeper meaning. D/s must be at the core of any play or bdsm relationships that I have. It is so much a part of me that it doesn't feel like kink, it feels normal. I guess based on this my 'kink' pool would be very deep. Not sure what you meant by "where do your see yourself in it" but I am a domme and I prefer slaves. Live-in slaves that can provide regular service is my ideal. I don't see slaves as toys to play with or worthless animals. I love the slaves I take and I will do anything for them but I will also use them like the slaves they are. I am not out as a bdsm person to the general public. I do need a 24/7 D/s dynamic to exist in my relationships but I don't want a slave that will be in service 24/7. I still expect us both to have normal vanilla lives outside of the home.

Sometimes it's extremely deep. It depends on the person I'm with. Sometimes they it starts at the deep end then we end up at the shallow end. other times we don't move from the shallow end. and sometimes, rarely, the pool is empty. Kind of like now.

I keep waiting for permission to enter the deep end of the pool. However, it seems like I've had a life jacket strapped onto me forever.

My pool goes all the way to the bottom.  I have a nice high fence, with a locked gate.  I try to keep it clean, and I never piss in it.  And I am saving up for a diving board and maybe some higher quality floatation devices so I won't be ashamed to have guests over... (man, that stuff is expensive but we do our own pool maintennance here so at least at least that cost is reasonable)...

Depends on which pool you are talking about. Is this the protocol pool or the activities pool? If it's the protocol pool then we'd be sitting on the edge with our feet dangling in the shallow end wondering how all those people can be kneeling in the deep end for so long without scuba gear. If it's the activities pool we're in the deep well all the time. Occasionally someone comes along and does a cannonball beside us but it's usually not terribly crowded there.

My focus is not so much as to how deep I have gone, nor as to high deep the ocean really is, but as to how fast I am decending. Too slow and your mind will distract you, too fast and your desires will consume you. One should enjoy the journey for what it is, not for meerly what it can be.

I'm always in the pool, but I drift between the deep end and the shallows, tugged by the currents of everyday life. As Master is still getting over Ross River Virus AND now has a job for 4 days a week, He's too exhausted to be very active in a play sense. But He is still Master nonetheless, so i guess as violet, i am about in the middle of the pool. As for Jay ... well, not having a sub/slave here means that She is trapped at the shallow end, but She longs to take a sub by the hand and lead him into the pool and down to the depths ...
