How much snow has everyone gotten? We've been plowed once already and there's still more snow coming down. I think they decided we are getting upwards of a foot when it all ends.

*looks out the window*  Nope, no snow in sight.....bright sunshine, 36 degrees here!  [:D]

Don't hate me cuz I'm warm!

Actually, Jim is taking over my role as class klutz. He had his annual winter accident over the Christmas holiday. The car was barely scratched, but hubby didnt fare quite as well. He was pretty battered.
Odd that with his last accident he totaled the SUV by rolling it down a 30ft embankment and walked away without a scratch. This time the car had a few scratches on the bumper, and it was nearly hubby that was totaled.

psssst Holly.....why don't you lend Jim your training wheels?  Sounds like he needs them more than you do!

Phoenixpower -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/12/2011 8:12:01 AM)

no snow here and as much as I love snow...I don't want any until my upcoming travel is over [:)]

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 7:27:43 AM)

Snow still on the ground.  We are going to town to get some groceries, have the DME check my face mask, see the pulmonary specialist, return some jammies (never put them on..I am a gown gal).

Now...to see if I have to play catch-up with a government agency...

sophiesback -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 1:30:58 PM)

Hi guys! I'm being a bad bad girl and posting from work. shhhhh don't tell the boss!

Phoenixpower -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 1:32:24 PM)

My view changed, please send all the snow over to here [:D] NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [>:][>:][>:]

sophiesback -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 1:36:32 PM)

Our snow is nearly gone, but we're supposed to start getting more this weekend....I'll see if I can't redirect it! Since my boss says I kept up with him too easily today chasing him through the backroads, I'm not allowed to call in for snow days now. [8|] Damn me for being so awesome!

Phoenixpower -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 1:39:47 PM)

Well its just that I truly wouldn't mind missing my mums birthday party and just staying here instead...but for that we need loads of snow so that the airports get shut [:)]

edited:

loads of snow means in the UK 1cm snow...so we don't need 5 foot or so...[8|]

He has surgery next week to rebuild his jaw. I can't talk about it without wanting to be sick.

Poor man will not be able to eat any meatloaf for a long time. Sad....lemmetellya

scifi11 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 1:42:48 PM)

No No you need 5 feet of it to truly enjoy the snow....I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

sophiesback -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 1:53:18 PM)

Sci, believe me, I am fine with many feet of that stuff....as my flat is cold either way...doesn't matter how much of that stuff and as more it is as more my cats can take a bath in it...if they want to or not [:D]

anyhow, only meant that we don't need that much with such short notice [:)]

adores sophie for her strength to resist [:D]

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 3:42:02 PM)

Since Jim is getting the surgery for his jaw, does that mean that he has to drink fluids to stay full.

I recommended hot fudge milkshakes from Sonic...and the protein drinks from the nutrient stores.

* has the pic of a pureed meatloaf in her head...*[:'(]

DarkSteven -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 5:06:07 PM)

Damn, holly.  Best of luck to Jim, and my condolences that he caught whatever it is you have.

Train the LO well.  In a few years, he'll have to be waiting on the two of you hand and foot when he's the only ambulatory one there.

[sm=rofl.gif][sm=rofl.gif][sm=rofl.gif][sm=rofl.gif][sm=rofl.gif]

thanks for that one steven....that laughter was truly needed today [:D]

though what you name "whatever" is what I would name a curse...believe me, if I would be visiting you, you would be amazed about the amazing things which would take place....and that not in a good way [8|]

I used to tell my ex that if he ever wants to go on an adventure holiday he can save his money and just take me along instead....as I find all possible hassles wherever we are...on the 3 service user holidays I was with my last employer, I was always the one who was screwed....on the first one, one of the clients woke me up 3 nights out of 7 as she didn't grasp that my bedroom was not the bathroom, the 2nd one the toilet got broken from a client at night and I was close to get electrocuted due to that causing a flood in my bedroom and my phone charger was in the soccket with the cable on the floor and the third time we had at first to move into another room for the first night as our door did not lock from inside and another time our tv was jammed (you had to pay per hour on that one)....my colleagues were always safe from such stuff and could just relaxe 24/7 [8|]

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (1/13/2011 11:27:49 PM)

Oh Holly, I'm sorry!  I hope he gets through it okay.  Must have been some crash!  It's always the one that don't look too bad that people seem to get hurt in the most!

Shar, I could've gone all week without the mental pic of pureed meatlof....Holly's or otherwise!  Although, I don't think there's kitchen tool made that could puree Holly's!  Jackhammer, maybe......
