I've always thought Hummers and Hummer2s were ugly, boxy looking things.  Good riddance as far as I am concerned.

I sure don't want to be in an accident with one.

Exactly: especially if you're a pedestrian and they're backing out of a parking space. Or if you're stuck between an army of them on a highway: you can't even see the sky, those things are so monstrous. But, they're going away, at last...

Good riddance to bad rubbish  .

My brother works for Chrysler/Dodge and said where they used to have huge mark up on the larger trucks, they can't seem to give them away fast enough these days.

I never liked Hummers.  They're big, ugly, and smack of a Look At Me! attitude.

They're for people with an inferiority complex.

How true.  Conversely, I drive a Prius.  What does that tell you  *wink*?

"It's the same thing," he said.

Sensible, solid, fuel-efficient.

Usually when I drive past Hummers, I throw up the universal "small penis" symbol; the inch of space between the thumb and forefinger and head thrown back in laughter.  They don't smile at that much...

The one use for these monsters is disaster relief - but most Hummer drivers don't give a toss about disaster relief - they're too busy jerking off behind the wheel (when they can get it up rofl).

The bad news in this however is that more US plants are going to close. And GM plans to open up new ones for the fuel-efficient cars in Mexico.

So more outsourcing is the result.

Hummers, yes.  Trucks, not so much.  Trucks are actually for those who need to move lots of heavy stuff.  I can't do my farm work with a prius,  Hell, the animals would laugh at me.

Sure, no reason to slam people who need a large vehicle, to transport stuff, people and animals, especially when they live in a rural area. Hummers in town though?
