at first i thought it meant "leave nothing to look back on and regret". then i figured maybe "to be delicate and patient, and that love is fragile and easily ruined". then i realized no matter which way i look at it, and no matter how hard or brittle the surface of the snow is, this is an impossibility. so then i started thinking maybe it's more literal, and saying something along the lines of... "learn that when trying to achieve the impossible do not expect perfection and do not be surprised when things don't go as planned" or perhaps a more humble message like... "in love; don't expect everything to go right the first time, but don't let one mark stop you from trying again" perhaps snow was chosen because of how much people like to play in it, and then it could also mean "love should be enjoyable even if it doesn't work out or go according to plan", or even simply a reminder that... "we should learn through our own failures to not expect the impossible from someone else, when we are no more capable", or even more simply "we need to learn we are all, only human. and to not fault or hold people responsible of higher expectations than yourself."
